Who else feels like ditching crappy brands? ✋
I would say tik tok "saving the planet" is absolutely outrageous. Sure there are good trends but how long is it gonna last? Trends are trends. They become the newest thing overnight and can become yesterday's news just as quickly. With tik tok ruining people's attention span and leaning to more degenerate (nearly or blatantly criminal) acts, I would say "saving the planet" just isn't right.
I do wish, though, that more positive trends like this come out and stay on even more platforms but honestly I doubt it will last because people love outrageous drama. And this may not be up to the "drama" standards
Absolutely is outrageous (but it's a title). I think the trend is great in terms of creating focus to the major over consumption problem we have, time will show if it will last.
This video is also meant to be in contrast to a recent one we did on SHIEN which is the polar opposite, it's insane how they are using especially TikTik to promote a very dirty business practise. We need more de-influencing and less SHIEN in the world 😊
So much plastic waste thanks to tiktok single use product in the videos
Agree those videos often really pushes single use plastic products.
