A great tutorial. I really enjoyed trying something different and expanding on using recordings as atmosphere (which is something I already do a lot in my own music). Thanks again for another top notch tutorial.

This is great man! Really enjoy it and really enjoy your demeanor. Cheers!
You're welcome...Thanks as always for watching and supporting!
You are the man Will! Brilliant stuff
Appreciate it! Thanks for watching and supporting the channel 🙌🏻
Hi Will. Is there any possibility you could do a tutorial on how some artists perform live sets straight from the ableton console, stream live etc and still have that mixed and mastered effect from track to track? There must be some interesting bus processing there that allows for real time creativity while maintaining the mix. Would be interesting to hear your take on this! Thanks
Great idea!
@@EDMTips Would LOVE to see that. Thanks for the work you do

U are the best!
i really love your staff

Thank you, I really appreciate the kind words of support! 🙂
amazing tutorial
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Great video, superb song so far! I think the most important what makes the track so bouncy is the groove you add to that drums. I wish in cubase there are some presets like the groove section in ableton, but there are just the swing knob which need a lil extra tuning everytime and this makes the processing longer than I like to have. When there are some tips for adding more bouncy groove hit me up!
Great suggestion, Oliver, perhaps it's something we will touch upon in the future!
Very cool tutorial, those chords were lit
Appreciate it! Glad you liked it :)
Wasn't a massive fan of the drums, till we got to around the 21-minute mark.
I swear I can hear `Blaze - Break For Love!` 🤍
Sublime, absolutely sublime!!!!
Thank you so much, I really appreciate the support! 🙌🏻
best one so far Will!
Cheers, Bernardo! Glad you enjoyed
THIS IS AWESOME! YOU MAKE IT SEEM SO SIMPLE AND STRICTLY CREATIVE! I LOVE THAT. I ALWAYS GET STUCK IN THE MIXING WHILE I PRODUCE AND IT MESSES WITH MY HEAD
Thank you so much for the kind support man! Appreciate it! :)
@@EDMTipsOF COURSE! ALSO, LATELY I’VE BEEN VERY INTERESTED IN LEARNING HOW TO CREATE A SONG SIMILAR TO THE STYLE OF LIVE LIFE BY JUNKIE XL FROM THE WHITE LINES TELEVISION SERIES. I ALSO WANT TO LEARN HOW TO CHOP SAMPLES IN THE STYLE OF ALON MOR LIKE IN HIS TRACK ECHOES FOLLOW
Absolute quality this
Thank you!
Heey, as it's been the second year since I_O's passing I been looking up some video's about him and found out you did a video on his style. I loved that video and it sounded amazing. It actually reminded me a lot of Adam K & Soha's style too. I'd love you to make a video on their style.
Thanks, Joey, I am glad you enjoyed it!
I will add this to my list, let's see how many people will vote for it :)
@@EDMTips style of I_0 or in memory of, or really anything you could connect would hit. Just a thought!
Another great tutorial!
I've been scrolling your playlist and didn't see.
Have you done a Burial style tutorial?

I didn't see the first Fred video but this one was fantastic ;)

exactly what I wanted to see
I am glad you enjoyed it!
when adjusting the pitch of an audio clip, if you hold shift+up/down arrow it will automatically pitch that clip up or down an octave. that way you don't need to do the math for it.
Great tip! Love it 👌🏻
Thanks!!

Top stuff Will!!I also love Thundercats!!!!!!& dungeons & Dragons, uni!!!!!!

Also.....YES! Although I was a little kid when I watched them!
Hey Will, I've been searching for a tutorial of complex Technoleads like Astrix, would be pretty interested if u would do that. Love your content
I'll add this to my list, Moritz, but this is a very niche subject so I am not sure how many people will vote for it.
Check out my Accelerator program though, breaking apart and retreating specific sounds is what we do a lot during our sessions.
Hey will! Would love a tutorial in the genre of Indie Dance music
Great suggestion! Any particular artists or tracks you're digging at the moment?
Hell yeah
😂😂 jefferey dahmer vibes “i just need a little smile or something. Awesome work!
😂 Dark, man....Dark!
🔥🔥🔥
Appreciate it! 🙌🙏
Is there a general rule for which buss to mix your kick in? I've seen some producers group it with the sub, others keep it completely separate and others mix it in with all the drums (this tutorial, Disclosure).
Another banger Will! That melody is so addictive
Thanks! It depends on what you are tricky to achieve: usually I’ll buss the kick and bass together
amen brother
Appreciate it! 🙌🙏
When you add the grove to the drum track and then make more additions to the track, do you need to add the grove back to the track? If you applya groove that doesn't work, how easy is it to remove?
at 4:50, can someone explain to me the equivalent to the groove he uses but for a Logic Pro X user? I know how to add swing to samples in Logic. but it doesn't seem the same
[hell yea] i give to you, a gift
Appreciate it! 🙌🙏
Around the 11minute mark my ableton interface dosent have that scale option on the bottom left. Anyone know how to access that?
amazing well done. could you consider doing a pendulum style song?
Ooooo yessss
Possible depending on how many people vote for it.
What's your favourite song of theirs?
@@EDMTips slam or another planet. Anything with those powerful synth lines would be great
Hi Will. Any chance of another synthwave tutorial. Maybe more uptempo like the midnight etc
Possibly! Any particular artists or tracks you're digging at the moment?

Trained under Brian Eno? I didn’t realize there was an academy. I would’ve loved to learn under someone like that.
Yeah….pretty cool!
Gives me The Jackal soundtrack vibes.
Rock on! 😎
Will! Is there a possibility to do a video on Moojo’s way of producing?? I really love the way you explain everything out!❤️⚡️
If Moojo isnt an option could it be Notre Dame?
hell yaaaaaaaa XD

Will you should try do Jamie xx I think you're the only one who would be capable!
Great suggestion, I will add this to my list :)
I am starting with DAW. I am not using Ableton. Is it easy to follow this tutorial with Logic Pro X for example ? Thx. Mate !
Great question! Yes for as long as you're comfortable with your DAW and its functionality, you should be able to follow along :)
Nice video, I really enjoyed this...the samples can be downloaded only with Ablethon? Cause im with fl so from the link i cannot have the files, am i wrong?
Glad you liked it!
Yes, I use Ableton so have provided ab Ableton project. You can re-create it in FL Studio though by following along :)
Thanks. Time to chill out with some ChillSynth FM. I know my taste is suspect.
You're welcome! Thanks for watching and supporting the channel :)
Hey! I downloaded this but It came up with a blank project for Ableton? Has there been an issue with this as I was looking forward to see how they made this track? :)
Definitely not empty, I just checked :)
Reminds me of robin Schulz - miss you

Interesting video. Is there no plan to disassemble a track in the style of Benny Benassi or Avicii?

i'm guessing your name is Terry? I used this song name trick to get a song playlisted- just named it a synonym of my reference track, great idea :D

I would have 3 interesting Requests for Artists with a very unique Style:
Paul Kalkbrenner (If you dare / Never found any good video on his style, I guess his sound design is way to unique and hard to imitate)
Nicolas Jaar
Maya Jane Coles

Great - BUT - what about how to go about triggering the videos? All these "How to Fred Again" YT tutorials and the videos are always left out. This is an integral part of FA's performance. Love to see a video on that. Thanks.

Will you be releasing this track ? It’s deadly 😄
is it possible to have a Logic pro Version?
Of the project? Unfortunately, not, as I don't use Logic Pro. However, you can follow along in Logic Pro and still get a similar result!
Hi, to make a bass, it should always be in mono mode
Only the sub eg below around 100 hz , he kept that sub track separate and didn’t widen
"nope that sounds rubish- back down" - story of my life lmao
Stop to want to make beat like this or like that... Just make it like YOU !!!
If you cant see the education behind it, youre loosing a lot of skills. Its not meant to sound exactly like him.
