My mother was very fond of Savitri madam. When we were children she was often mentioning about Missamma, Maya Bazar, Kalathur Kannamma and the way mahanati Savitri madam acted in those films. We as children then didn't understand the depth of my mother's adoration for mahanati. My mother passed away in the year 2019. In her memory I started watching Mahanati Savitri madam's movies. OMG what an actress, what a great humanitarian she was! She is perhaps the greatest superstar in the entire Indian cinema for her sheer versatile acting skills, grace, beauty, simplicity and above all a kind heart reaching out to the needy.

I'm 26 years old and my father introduced me to this movie when I was 16 , I still remember that I was a bit hesitant to watch this movie back then but I did and I fell in love with this and old Telugu movies as well.
