This god damn Miyazaki lake got me restarting more times than the boss. Thank the Lord the last two guys can be scanned and attacked while they're "asleep", before you trigger then by picking up the log.
I had to redo it a few times as well, make sure to kill all the skinny things at the bottom, the one on top and the 2 dudes down there. Turns out I missed one of the wheel guys in the back of the lake, somehow they are easy to miss
every single wheel on the level has its own combat log fromsoft?! ive already killed ibis three times today! My rage is infinite, it was just the bridge wheel! i killed everything else on the map! AARRRGH!! Good walkthrough though
I had to do it a couple times, thought I had all of them, but there was a couple at the other end of the lake I missed. Idk about the not spawning part. This game does occasionally have the log enemies spawn and then just fuck off to a random part of the map.

The saw blade alone under the opposite side of the bridge is the combat log. That’s the one you need to kill
