Kenshi is worth more than the last 10 AAA games EA has crapped out. Throw in the last 5 ubisoft games too.
Triple A games are trash, Kenshi is too easy.

Funny that this video popped up about a week after I bought the game ( on sale as you mentioned ), and just a few weeks after I subbed to your channel. I haven't started Kenshi yet, but I am mostly playing Icarus and Caves of Qud lately. I found your excellent Icarus content, so thank you for that.
If you're a fan of RTS, unit management and you play games that has RPG elements mixed into them, then Kenshi is for you. Even more so if you're an old gamer and isn't too sensitive about game graphics.
I'm in my early 20s but I play Dwarf Fortress and CDDA so this is an upgrade in graphics.
Kenshi has by far the most interesting health and limb system among all the games I have played so far
I bought it in 2024 and I believe it is much better than most other so-called AAA games. $13 is the best ever investment, just like Project Zomboid. You should expect to use the first 100 to 200 hours to just learn the basics of the game. So, this game can give you over 1000 hours of good entertainment.
Yes of course I bought kenshi last month, yes I'm late to the party. But since then I can't stop playing, wondering myself why it took me so long to jump into the train

I don’t think I can sink 100s of hours into this game becuase I am short on time, I Literally had to watch this video at 2x speed to make sure I could still try the game after watching.
mount and blade warband is another good one
Warband is trash with Bannerlord released.

$1 per hour is a ridiculous measurement of value.
So Limbo and Inside would be rated poorly for being $10 for a 2.5 hour experience since they arent $2.50 each? Which is heavily discouraged by Valve fyi.

I would never pay $10 for 2.5 hours no matter how good the game is. A sale or cheaper game Key is what I would go with.
@@Drigo924 Keys aren't 100% risk free. This game can be played for thousandS of hours and STILL you can try a totally different play style every time you play it. The map is "kind of" fixed but with a lot of procedural generation involved. So, you encounter different things on the same map every time you play it and every time you revisit the same location. The replaybility of this game is endless. By endless, I mean endless, no matter how many hours you sink in playing this game. BTW, this game is a fight simulator, not a common exploration/survival game that you see on the market. This game is comparable to games like Project Zomboid, except you don't see zombies, but different creatures and different factions and NPCs. AND you control a team/army that you recruit from scratch and train them to become the most powerful fighter(s) in the kenshi world.
