The Shek are actually the LEAST discriminatory of the 3 major factions in Kenshi, they only want to fight and conquer your area, but will let you let you live under their empire after. They won't enslave you or try to kill you on sight, they respect strength and powerful warriors regardless of race, but will crush you if you're puny and weak.
Kenshi and Rimworld players coming up with new "fun" and "cool" ways to dismantel their enemies and turn them in to furniture
Not quite furniture, but in kenshi you can literally skin them and make clothing out of their hides. The peeler machine that removes the skin also removes all their limbs, and while you can't make furniture from the limbs, they do make delightful treats for your pet bonedogs; the pups get especially excited when they have got a limb to play with.

Your first kenshi will almost always be your best kenshi. If you kenshi hard enough eventually you will come to know a lot about it, but if you choose to pretend to forget and kenshi like it's your first time again to try and capture that early magic.... then you're a skeleton.
i love to start with the hardest start every time. Alot of people dont seem to understand that getting the shit kicked out of you and you not dying after is a good thing at the beginning because you get toughness from it.
