so young but musically so mature.. Some "musicians" that have 20 year experience can't create this kind of atmosphere. So smooth andsubtle,. They play together so well, all in function of the song, no egotripping. this is talent iI guess.

I wouldn't say his singing is "shit," rather it is heavily reliant on stylistic character as opposed to tonal accuracy. Sure he slurs some of his words and he does not sing like the musicians we hear on the radio, but it's something about his disregard for perfection that adds character to his music. It's something musicians don't really seek anymore - that is, they don't try to use their voices to convey their uniqueness and character. I personally enjoy the way he sings, and I think it is completely fitting for his musical approach. I would not be as drawn to his music had his voice been entirely technical.

It's like Bob Dylan. He doesn't have a naturally pretty sounding voice, but it's still iconic and great for the music they make.

I don't think people understand how good archy marshal is, the solo he does at the end is the same line as the sax part on 'Bob the Bob' by The Lounge Lizards. Mind blown.
I just recently heard of King Krule after listening to Mac DeMarco and it was by far one of the best finds I've found in a very long time. He had such a unique style of singing that makes him stand out.
He sounds so effortlessly good!
