    I just came back from the most amazing Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto 3 played by Seong Jin Cho in Munich, and during the epic concerto there were these 2 guys who were just reading books the entire time (and they even got seats in the best category). Don't know which level it is

    i find listening to classical while trying to do anything else impossible, like the music is so emotional it requires all your attention at all times

      That’s definitely the case for me and stringed instruments! I always get so involved in the music when it’s a violin or viola playing Bach or something. Piano and symphonic works are my go to for studying.

    Reading Rachmaninoff while a Chopin concerto is playing is quite elite, come to think of it. (it cracked me up though)

    This is PAINFULLY reletable especially the working out and videogames one. I remember going for a run while Chopin’s ballade no. 1 was playing and I SPRINTED once the coda started. Had me in an adrenaline rush like never before.

      Same! I remember playing an FPS game while listening to the same Chopin ballade and going on an epic killstreak when the coda hit and winning the game! Good memories.

    My dad is the only 1 that understands my passion for strictly listening to classical music. He's been playing classical piano for the past 33 years. He played while I was in the womb of my mother & I grew up w 5 diff pianos in the home! This was sooo funny 😅👏🏼🙌🏽❣️

    I used to listen to some of my favorites pieces on repeat when going out for jogging, to the point I started timing my jogs to the music. I'd come back home and be like "That took two and a half Chopin Barcarolles" or "Damn I spent 4 Mephisto Waltzes jogging".

    I'm a reverse level 6. I set a timer to wake up and it plays Erik Satie Gymnopédie but it was so calming that I slept through it. I can still hear it in my dream, and now I can kinda lucid dream by using classical music.

    I just realized I’ve done all of these. What next? Level 9 is practicing while still listening to a recording, level 10 is actually going to a concert, and level 11 is driving on that one stretch of road that badly plays the 1812 overture. Maybe level 12 is hacking into voyager 1 that has the golden record and playing the classical music on there in outer space?!? Great video btw!

    Exercise and driving in the car is where classical crossover comes into play for me. However sometimes I do listen to regular classical music in the car sometimes.

    Knowing all the wierd routins and staff that I setup on my google asistan if I would ask for clair de lune it will probably play Berlioz symphonie fantastique IV mt, rite of spring or something totally not relaxing like that (at least for most people, a likie relaxing to Stravinsky )
