You can lock / unlock from the mychevrolet phone app. Also if your key fob battery dies it has a key that comes out by pressing a button and pulling the top out. Then on the driver door, underneath the door handle is a hole you insert it in and pull forward it pops the cover off exposing the key hole you use to unlock and open the door. There's different spots where you need to put the fob from different years and models and then you can start the car. Need to look up your car's manual to see where to put it. Fr some you place the fob in the front cup holder and others you have to open the cubby between the front seats and there's a spot to place the fob. Dunno if there's even more spots, but your not stuck just from a dead fob battery you just gotta lookup what to do for your car.
When I got my Chevy Cruze,,I had no idea where the battery was,,,someone needed a jump and I opened the hood,,and said I don't have one under here,,obviously I new it was somewhere,,had to look in the owners manual,,but very nice feature, guna see if the automatic lock is on mine,,that woukd be cool
I love my all black 2018 redline Cruze. I bought it brand new in May of 2018 and have put about 70k miles on it. Threw the LED headlights in it and tinted it out. No issues at all with the car. I don’t think I’ll ever get rid of it
Bro. Awesome. I have 2 questions. At 2:13, there is a small valve that connects the intake to a hose that goes 2 the engine. I lost mine, where can i get it??? Also the hose that goes to the intake, the part you out the hose on, it broke. I need 2 replace. I might have 2 do a video so u can see
I would go the dealership and go to the parts office and show them a picture. They should be able to get the exact part because the car is newer so it is hard to find parts for it on the internet.
Cruze was cut for the same reason the Volt was cut, The Suspension has issues Service Bulletin #: 16-NA-316, There's a couple more. The engine had issues outside of 2-3.5K RPM range, Turbo was meh The Auto Stop was intrusive, and causes engine wear. Though I disabled it manually on mine, 2018+ had option to disable via button at every startup. I have a 2017LT, and I just used the terminator wiring harness mod for $20 and 5 minutes to install. An ECU upgrade and a few other mods can double your power and expand the RPM Power range from 2K t0 5K.
@@SkateZillaSimulations jeeezus man lol...all of these issues sound horrible! Hmm, well for me I'm around 44k miles on my 2017 premier RS hatchback and soon gonna need the big 50k mile service. I love this car and haven't experienced any trouble with it at all. It runs really great and is very quick. The only thing I do is all the regular oil changes, usually a bit early cuz of the extreme desert weather, and I don't mess around with batteries either I replace them like clockwork not giving them a chance to leave me stranded. I got the biggest interstate battery that fits the car, the MTX-48/H6.
@UnknownScorpion I'm not sayin I don't love my Cruz, I do, it's one of the best cars I've owned in a while, every car has its issues, recalls and service bulletins. Even the Chevy Impala I owned before that was a great car, despite it's flaws (Airflow Actuators!). The Main Nail in the Coffin for the Cruze, despite it's sales numbers and popularity was factory assembly line reduction, Chevy cut a bunch of models to reduce assembly lines and workforce due to the pandemic and industry shift, and Volt/Cruze was expendable as they had the Impala and Malibu's still to full Full Size and Mid-Size Sedans, the Impala Line would Follow in 2021 as Discontinued as full size sedan sales declined more and EV/CrossOver SUVs rose, Leaving only the Malibu in the Sedan Lineup. There are rumors of a new Volt in 2025, but there's no evidence other than social media hearsay.
Can I ask a question When I turn on my heat I notice the A/C button turns on (lit yellow), but the car is blowing heat. If I press the a/c button again it turns green, then again, it turns off. Do I want it on during the winter? Or do I want the yellow light off ?
I just find the lock future today but need one more step you don’t say you need to turn on that future and same setting you say but need to go to last one call passive door lock and turn on and another benefit to have battery in the back is battery life because they no have to deal to the heat to the engine the only think I hate is the auto start I wish they can make switch to turn off
The auto stop/start featured can sort-of be disabled by putting the gear selector in "L". Then, use the +/- button on top of the lever to put it in "L6" (the gear readout is in the LCD display within the gauge cluster). You can then drive the Cruze normally...without it stopping and starting every time you stop/go. Of course, the 2019 gained a switch that can turn it on and off without having to do the "L6" trick. I still say Chevy needs to retrofit all 2016-2018 Cruzes with that switch!
Thanks for the video. I just learned I have a chevy bow tie on the hood liner. I've had my 2019 hatch for almost a year and didn't even know it was there.
Hello I just bought a 2018 Cruze sedan. The only way I figured out how to do the navigation is by using a USB CABLE. I had to have Android auto installed then it worked. Not sure how if you have a Apple. Good luck.

The 2019 Cruze got an upgraded Chevy Infotainment 3 system; it's an upgrade over the older Chevy MyLink system used in the 2016-2018 models. It's so improved, I guess, they changed the name along with the GUI. :D

It's too bad Chevy killed off the cruze... The second gen cruze had so many improvements over the first and the lines on the hatchback was super sporty .
I can't agree more. It's actually one of the best cars Chevy made in the last 20 years and better than the competition IMO. The amount of room, the quality for the price point, the gas mileage, the functionality of everything...all top notch. Got over 83k miles on my hatchback and I absolutely LOVE it. Any other hidden features for the Cruze?
First year you can disable auto-start on the cruze, pervious owners had to get a tune kit for this feature
Just FYI, it isn't automatic, it is just on a time delay if you set it that way. There is no option for it to lock when you are so many feet away.

My 2019 cruse hatchback beeps at me when I’m putting air in my tires to let me know I’m at 35 psi. Found that pretty cool
The coolest hidden feature is when u hit the gas pedal and the throttle Doesn’t work and nearly kills you
Battery in trunk makes it super easy to power a sub amp - you don’t have to run a wire to the front of the car
That is a HUGE plus!
Thanks. And now I know what I'm going to do next in my car
