How to Clean Mixed Material Jordan 4s

- Suede, cracked leather and a light color leather material, sounds like a triple threat to me! The Craft Air Jordan 4 is the definition of a mixed material sneaker, but with the help of the Essential Cleaning Kit we were able to clean all of those materials with no issues at all.
In today's Shoe Care Academy video we took on a requested sneaker from the comments and walked you through all the tips and tricks on how to clean the Air Jordan 4 Craft. However, we also walked you through some of the complications, so when you are cleaning these kicks watch out for those!
The Craft Jordan 4 is a monochrome light colored sneaker with small details to really make the shoe dynamic. The uppers are made of suede, cracked leather and regular leather; this is the perfect sneaker for our Soft Bristle Brush. The Soft Bristle Brush was able to break down all of the surface dirt while still protecting those delicate materials. While the midsole cleaned up nice using the Medium Bristle Brush and the outsole as always is the best use of the Stiff Bristle Brush.
Pro tip though... After you clean suede; ALWAYS reset that nap to get the buttery smooth texture we all know and love.

Quick question…what would you suggest for removing sticky tape residue off sneaker paint? I used a masking tape which I had used before with no issues but left it in the sun for longer and now the residue is on the paint….thank you for any insight you may have

@@RESHOEVN8R i was actually able to get it off…it took a little bit of work but I got it. I tried shoe cleaner and at first it wasnt clming off…and I didnt wanna scrub to hard on the paint. But a little extra TLC and I got it. I appriciate you guys getting back to me…I love that about you guys…keep up the good work. And for the record it was the jordan 4 laser print with the gum bottoms. The midsole in the front had turned yellow so I did salon care 40 (which did great) but yea after I took off the tape there was residue…next time i’ll use a different tape

Would you use Mink Oil in this shoe after cleaning it? Should you use Mink Oil after cleaning every pair of shoes with suede or nubuck?
You don't have to use it on every shoe. We typically use it more for color fading and since this is a light color we didn't encounter that.
I really hope you can help me. I have these same shoes and I used a tooth brush on the suede where the squares are, and I got rid of the squares. I don’t know how to fix it. If there’s anything I can do, please do tell. Thank you!
Unfortunately once the squares are rubbed off there isn't much you can do

Hi my military black midsole are all cracking and losing paint fast and I wanted to know if acetone nail polish remover is good to remove all the midsole paint and then repaint
I would use a straight acetone from Amazon
URGENT QUESTION: I have the olive Travis lows. They have a glue mark on the toe box suede. How can I remove it? It’s not coming off with the dry suede kit.
You can get the suede a little wet. Just don’t over saturate it. Once it’s dry, reset the nap with a dry brush.
You can get suede wet, but unfortunately glue stains don't really come off.

You would follow the same pretreatment steps with the Soft Brush on the uppers, Medium Bristle on the midsoles and stiff on the outsoles.

We dirtied this pair specifically by employees wear them, but a lot come from eBay

Let me just grab my air compressor real quick…just a tip…use your product only. This was sort of lame.
Our products did a majority of the work. The air compressor helps protect the sneaker from pushing dirt into it. Thanks for your feedback

Jordan is crap they deliberately destroyed the shoes to take your money she doesn’t say how long she has had them how she got them muddy all she says these are cooked it would be good if you can do a video how you destroyed the sneakers before you clean them
