That's pretty much exactly what happened in that one Sims story of Gloom's... Her own Sim and one of her main characters, Judy BigBooty, were both vying for the attentions of a Sim of Terry, Gloom's significant other. Basically he kept turning them both down and partway through they looked at each other and were like "BEEP it!" and leapt into bed together . XD
