Been riding for 2 years, sold my bike at the beg of the year, moments like 28:00 is what i miss with my buddies. Life really be that simple when you riding out with the boys all day.
I have the 250cc version of this in the Philippines called ZX-25R and all your lovely reactions are what I experience every time I ride mine. I have 4 motorcycles, a Ducation Supersport 950S, KTM 390 ADV, and a Husqvarna 401 and this smallest cc is by far, my favorite. It is just a blast to ride especially with aftermarket exhaust. All the people around you break their necks to see you pass by ‘slowly’. I’m itching to upgrade to the 4R but I hear some people say that the 25R sounds better because it is running on higher RPM compares to the 4RR on the same speed.
love your videos.I live in Alaska but have been down in Stanwood helping family last month and half. I have my 2001 FZ!. It's been sitting here for 12 years due to a construction accident I had. After all the surgeries I feel great and it feels so WONDERFUL to ride again. Love the roads around Skagit farm country, lots of twisties and gorgeous views
keeping rpms too low in break in period could actually be bad for the bike. you want the bike to experience high rpms too BUT make sure the bike is fully up to temperature. also make sure you never keep the same rpm for more than 10min you want it to go all the way from 1k to 6k-14k depending on rpm range (generally 10-20% off redline) but that's only in very short bursts like once every 5-10min. that's the absolute best way to break in a new bike, if you don't believe me go and watch fortnine
Such a great group of friends/added family! Awesome you kept your promise about the break in of the ZX4RR. What Alex said, I did hear both ways too of breaking in a bike.
Rode all these roads last summer and did the same thing: looking around constantly thinking, god damn so pretty. Nothing like the PNW. Your vid really captures the vibe so thanks as usual!!
Can't wait to see how you like the bike after it gets the tune and an exhaust on it. I adore mine. It might not make sense for $$ per HP, but bikes don't have to make logical sense sometimes. Sometimes shits just gotta be fun.
I have a 2024 zx6 same windscreen. The zero gravity corsa light smoke is by far the best, wind hits you in the shoulders and helmet. I highly recommend. And the 2-6 week wait time is bs they had it to me within 10 days of ordering. Get it you wont be disapointed!!!
I was looking at the R3 for my first bike. I’m 28 and new to all of this. R7 has been on my radar for some reason to start on. I’m more leaning towards the R3 but I would say, if I have an opportunity to get the R7, I won’t hesitate.
Smaller bikes are more fun going fast ain’t everything! Grom/390/ebikes helped me hone myskills n learn. Big bikes are cool but people don’t realize the danger of speed.
I absolutely LOVE my 4RR. Low production numbers on these. Nothing sweeter than a bank of 4 little cylinders screaming. What this bike is, is about FUN. Every dumb pimple faced squid has a 600, the 4RR is a scalpel used by those who know....and IFKYK 😇 It' s not about price, it's about value. And the Akrapovic with a tune? 👌
I’ve been watching a few videos of yours, and didn’t know you live in the PNW. I’m 20 and looking at getting a rc390, aprilia rs457, or zx4rr. Also, I’ve lived in Tacoma and Puyallup my whole life, so I’ve done this whole ride quite a few times it’s stunning. Great video!
Apparently people have removed the catalytic converters and tuned it and they got power in the high 90’s and they said if it was stock with that power then it’d be worth it
Hey Adobo what do you think about the european pricing of the Zx4-RR? I know there are a lot of dealer markups in the USA that just dont exist where i live and i know for a fact that most of the ZX4s around here are selling about 400 Euro under MSRP because all of the dealers give you a discount for having made your A2 license or A license in the year you want to buy the bike. I traded my old bike and got the 400 Euro bonus and eventually only paid 8200 out of the lot.
if offered one of these, or a 1 year old ZX6R, I love the IDEA of a small displacement inline four, able to go wide open throttle and bang through the gears but if it costs the same, I'm picking the ZX6R
totally get why she wants it and I think it suits her situation and needs perfectly! that being said, to someone looking at getting a bike in that price range, it makes it a lot harder to choose the 4RR over a ZX6R
When was this!?! I was just there a few weeks ago group riding.. I knew that pass looked familiar! Woulda been awesome to catch up with the short king of WA. 🤣 Yes, the east side is way different than the west, until you go up north of Spokane to like Deer Park or sneak into Idaho. Gotta love the differences!
I got a 24 R7, fuel tank is 3.4 gal. Just hit 600 miles and about to do first service. Doing the easy break in I’ve gotten 60+ mpg. I have seen in the forums and with my bike as well that the fuel gauge on the R7 isn’t all that accurate. When you get to the last bar and it starts flashing your trip meter changes to Trip F and counts up so you know how many miles you have gone since the bar started flashing, this is supposed to happen with .5 gal of fuel left. So far I have had it come on 3 times and each time when I fuel up I find that there was still almost a gallon of fuel left in the tank even though it was flashing. Driving normal I can get 170 miles to a tank and still have enough mileage to make it to a gas station. Hard riding I just figure go get gas at 120 and should be good.
I was thinking of getting the Kawasaki 650. I am 5’7 and never ridden a motorcycle. My question is what is the difference between this bike in the video and the 650?
For people online saying to rev it out and no brake in that’s ALL BS. Don’t listen to them!! There is a reason for a brake in period we have done it for decades! The seals and gaskets need to settle in and seal. First few hundred definitely want to go ez. Manf. Says under 4k rpm which I found to be boggy so I kept it around 6 for the 600 miles. Then after the oil change get rid of metal slag and boom rip that beootch
I like this kind of video. It’s not so mainstream that there is no spirit (barely breaking the limit) but it’s not irresponsible speeding (I hate to see)
The powerband at the top of the gears I've always loved that about kawasaki seems like every one I've rode was like that it makes the bike less twitchy
for my birthday in less than a month im getting my first bike im stuck between the r7 and zx4rr i want the r7 so i wont need to upgrade for awhile but the sound of the zx4r with a aftermarket exhaust is just love i love inline 4s someone help
My friend if I were you I would go for the zx4 RR. That high-pitched wail of a screaming inline 4-cylinder engine is really intoxicating. Plus I don't think they'll be manufacturing motorcycles with inline 4 cylinder engines for very much longer, so it'll probably hold its value more.
Adobo out here complaining about the heat in the freaking Pacific Northwest. Cry me a river. It was 95 today in Tennessee, with a heat index of 99. Also, I think that bike is cool as hell. Sure, it's a little expensive, but it's not way out of line with the bikes in its HP range (after flash). I mean, it's only $800 more than a Trident, and it's way cooler. I would have got it in that sick green and blue color though.

Thanks for the help! Adobo always helping out and who could turn down riding the RSV4
That’s a good friend ❤ I know people that’d probably leave me there
I have the ZX4RR, bought it for my wife but I love riding it. Full Akra exhaust and tune has really made the difference. She screams to 15k RPM.
it's so fun!
What’s top speed ?
@@1pyroace1mine tops out at 133 with a slip on and no tune. Depends on rider tbh
Which "she" are you talking about that screams to 15k RPM bro?? 😁🫣

As someone born and raised in western Washington and went to college in eastern Washington, this video made me very homesick. Such a beautiful state.
Washington really does have the most beautiful, scenic riding! Stoked for more zx4rr content. Keep crushing it!

The sheer joy that comes over in this video is awesome, nice vid. Greetings from UK.
Kawasaki one of the most versatile bikes
I agree!
Damn that road up Rainier looks amazing. New favorite video.
definitely going back
That price is atrocious, right now OTD it will cost $11,000 plus, which is a shame cuz I love the idea of a 4 cylinder in a small displacement
10k out the door
Still cheaper than 15k otd for a zx6r xD
It’s a unique bike that’s why. 😆
