I just finished watching all your Satisfactory game videos and completed the game using your strategies. It took me 90 hours, but it was an incredible experience. I'm excited for your next game, DysonSpear Program
The cave system is absolutely spectacular. I like the location for the heaters and drills - maybe put all the power up there too. Plenty of space. I know the tier 2 solar panels are very aesthetically pleasing, but maybe it’s time they were moved out your way - they could go up on the plateau too.
I genuinely love how pleasant and organized the water base is, and then you go outside to an absolute tornado of machines. That said, I'm glad you're starting to mop it up, 'cause as funny as it is to watch, I bet it's driving you mad XD Looking forward to the next one!
Love the "new" base setup! The older one was getting pretty cramped. That tree gave me a Lord of the Rings vibe. Glad you remembered to top off your oxygen when exploring the ship! Love a good "loot run"!
After today's update I might start a new save because Miju Games have made starting a lot less painful, and after checking around my current save, I find the good stuff isn't there because I've explored too much. Thanks for another great episode, Surtr, I'll be looking forward to your 2.0 Humble series ;D Having said that, I still check for your next video of this series because you've got me hooked.
I rarely drive the rover, it is either in my inventory, or parked somewhere that I am exploring and can fill it up. Then I jetpack back home, teleport the rover back and unload. you can go much longer explorations, and you can use it instead of a hut, once you have unlimited O2.
I haven't built a vehicle yet, I feel that by the time it becomes useful (unlimited oxygen and large storage), it's pretty much obselete, as before that stage, it's just far too slow. I must admit that I'm not much of a hoarder, and I don't pick up stuff that I'm never going to use, or have plenty of already, case in point being food, tree and flower seeds, of which there are far more than anyone could ever need. This new map looks very interesting, and the new crushers seem very useful.
It is going to be interesting how the crushers will work out in the later game. Agreed, way too many seeds but I would rather there are too many so they are easy to find.
we're going at pretty much the same pace, though you are much luckier with loot (especially a lot more fuses) and you've also had 3 super alloy storms, while I'm still waiting for my first... I'm only getting the basic storms, which is quite annoying at this stage...
@@surtrplays it's interesting that after I wrote this comment, I opened the game as I usually do to make some progress and as soon as I had packed everything I needed for my planned trip (which was almost full inventory), I suddenly had a super alloy storm... only managed to collect 20 super alloy (which is still good), because I had to run back into my base to clear out my inventory... few minutes after that I also got the Pulsar quartz meteor... and then like 15 minutes later the same happened - super alloy storm followed by a pulsar quartz meteor... I guess complaining worked :D
7:30 How is the vehicle counterproductive? You're hauling around basic ore, using up 6 inventory slots to maintain O2, while the truck only takes up one. Plop it down any time you need oxygen. Nothing says you have to fill the inventory and drive it. Use it as an O2 hut and save 5 inventory slots. What am I missing here?
I meant that it is counterproductive to take the vehicle down if you can't bring it back up. At that stage I didn't know if I would be able to drive out of the caves. I agree it is super.
@@surtrplays Oh I know what you meant. But why did you leave it behind? It's a 1-inventory-slot oxygen supply instead of carrying around all that basic ore.
what I usually do with the vehicle is - I drive it to where I need to go, use it as an oxygen refill and extra storage. Once both the vehicle and my personal storage are full, I just fly back to base with my jetpack and recall the vehicle to it's station. By the time I've unloaded everything the timer to recall it again is pretty much up and you're good to rinse and repeat... that's also an easy way to solve the problem of getting back out of places you might get stuck in...
Larva does not spawn in the location you are at in my playthrough, i need to go into the caves, was not finding any 2 stages later than i should be able to, at least i found somewhere to find larva, but kinda irritating until i get the thing that makes larva. Great series :)
Hi. I am on 20.65 GTi already, busy with Breathable atmosphere Stage.. and i have yet to see a larva! Can't build the beehive as i can't get larva.. i'm a bit confused as to why..
No Biomass screen yet? Strictly speaking you don't have any production multiplier fuses yet either. Your oxygen did seem to be lagging behind somewhat, although you boosted it nicely during the episode. Are those new spacesuits or just more of the same green ones? Right now the T1 tree spreader was the wrong machine to optimise. For oxygen you're actually slightly better off optimising your T2 biodome - its base oxygen is 1450, which increases by 5800 with one fuse or 13050 with two fuses, which compares to your T1 tree spreader which with the Ruberu tree seed generates 11040 oxygen but your increase is only 4600 with one fuse or 9200 with two fuses. For plants you're better off optimising your beehive - it generates 350 plants, double even the T2 tree spreader and way more than the T1 tree spreader. With just four of each of the T4 heaters and drills it would have been worth building them near enough together that all eight could be optimised for both heat and pressure.
I do eventually get to the biomass screen. Actually forgot about it. All the stuff I'm doing is prep for later I could use the fuses differently but I will probably forget to change them back later. I forget a lot.
Thanks for showing that cave. Forgot about it. Picked up 7 Pulsar Quartz in there and built my Nuclear Fusion Generator. 😁
You are most welcome. I'm happy to help.
Doing great. I love the new base. Keep chugging along, Surtr. Looking forward to the next video.
Thanks, will do!

I will be doing a lot of rearranging as we go.
I also like the idea that you are making your base more condensed for automation.
Thanks.
Im glad you checked the biological tab on the monitor. I was interested in your progress there. In my plathroughs, i often neglected to do that
I try to look at it often.
Moving along nicely, @Surtr :)
- The devs seem to have paced this DLC quite nicely w.r.t. progression and from what I've seen, its a well crafted map
Thanks. It is very well put together and they are still adding to the DLC. News coming soon.

It is driving me nuts but there is so much to do. In the end, it will be fine.

Great strategy.
That's how I use it too. But Humble is better suited for it than the original planet.
Keep up the good work
Thanks so much, I will keep going!
@ you’re welcome
I finished yesterday, looking forward to seeing how you setup some of the automation with the new ores.
Thanks. It will be interesting.

The explosives are handy for breaking open the nodes around the map, like the iridium ones we found earlier. At least that's what I've seen so far.
Thanks. I have found a few other nodes, aluminum, uranium and osmium.
Like 300 done for you brother. I kinda wish this was available on console. Would give it a shot because of your videos.
Thanks Bro. Maybe one day.
I knew it I thought I herd a South African accent 👌👌
Indeed you did.

Pulsar! Nice.
Once i got the unlimited O2 chip i just used that as my travel kit only takes up 1 inventory space.
I think I'm going to start doing that, thanks.

Thank you so much. I think there might be 'bugs' to fix. ;)
60 fps, a better experience for new viewers
Unfortunately my editing software will not allow me to do more than 30fps and I can't afford the paid version yet.

I think the larva only start appearing with the insect stage.
Wait. I thought larvae only appeared in the caves.
I think the message said that they could only reproduce in the caves. Obviously we are better than those people. ;)
@@surtrplays Weird. Because I'm at that spot and none are spawning. And I'm already at the amphibian stage.
That is strange.
