Don't stress about uploading too much. The first year of teaching is a lot of work and stressful. If you ever need a break, we will understand! Your students are more important than the channel. :)

Here's another tip! Check out the amazon warehouse from time to time to check for stuff you need for your classroom. I even get nice printer paper and laminating sheets that way :)

I'm about to start my first year of teaching in the UK in Year 1 (5 and 6 year olds). I have been loving all of your videos so much to help get me ready for my first classroom too. I also LOVE HP instant ink and i've found a craft knife to also be invaluable for cutting out lettering! Like you I've had to work over the Summer to be able to afford my rent however I can't get into my school over the weekend so I've only actually got 3 days to sort out my classroom- major stress! I've got most of my displays done though, thank goodness! Also very jealous of you only having 14 students, I've got 31!!! Good luck this year! xxx
Oh gosh I would love to, unfortunately over here it's all a lot stricter in terms of putting yourself out on the internet :( Everything has to be private and it's in most teacher's contracts so it's a real big risk and could cause me to loose my job! Maybe one day it won't be so strict! Girl can dream haha!

So I am from Louisiana almost done with my schooling. Do you have any tips on searching for schools outside of my state? I do not wish to stay here to teach, but I would like to find a good school district somewhere, anywhere!
Amber Lynn the Apppquinimink School District (DE) amazing staff at all schools the, the best school district in the state, and VERY well behaved students no matter the grade. :)
+Amber Lynn I would just say do your research on both quality of districts as well as job openings to weigh out your options. I would say come to AZ because there are always job openings due to our huge teacher shortage! There are really great districts to work for but there are also some not some great districts as there would be in any other state
Get your teaching license in the state you are interested in. You will just get rejection letters unless you show that you have at least applied for a license. Good luck! Do your research and rock those interviews.
Do you have one of those big paper cutters? If not, you should get one. They make cutting so much easier and quicker! Also, how would that paperless school idea work? They don't want children to learn to write??
by paperless they mean that if you can do an activity on the promethean board and make it more interactive, then do that instead of worksheets. of course they want the students to learn how to write. Being paperless will still allow us to make copies, but we would be more conscious of it :)

The printing subscription tip is helpful for everyone--not just new teachers! Great vlog per usual.
HP instant ink is the best ! I've been using it since December and I barely use up all my paper ! The ink does last for ever !!! Love it

Come to middle Tennessee. Some great school districts here!
