Yep and you can actually get Mystery Machine decals for it. If I were doing it over again that's the way I'd make it look! Thanks for dropping by Tony!
I ordered mine from amazon and the esc was missing.. they sent me another and a return label.. the second kit also missing the esc.. not Amazon's or tamiya fault I guess but still a bummer. Thank god for spare parts!
Wow, that's bizarre! I bought all of my Tamiya stuff from Tower Hobbies. Only had one part missing ever and that was an A arm for my Hotshot II back in 1988. TAMIYA is easy to work with now days with an office in California. Thanks for watching!
@@RDsRCReviews amazon said it was from a 3rd party.. some japanese company.. upon reading more reviews I found several comments with people people missing the esc.. but I will be sure to go with tower in the future, I learned my lesson lol
@@mattchrome6643 That makes sense. Damn 3rd party sellers. Tamiya is a Japanese company but I've never seen a Japanese Amazon seller so that's interesting. Amazon however is overrun with Chinese sellers.
@@RDsRCReviews seller is "waltz japan" fulfilled by amazon.. should have read the reviews beforehand. Also it was the only one available with prime at the time. Anyways amazing rc brings me back!
The first hobby grade RC that I bought new. A whole lotta fun. 🙂. I painted mine red with white wheels.
I remember wanting one in the 80's. Instead I got a radio shack sand buggy 2wd. What a great surprise bring this one out. So awesome brother.
Thanks brother!! I'm rendering the drive review right now. I used the Evo to film some of it too!
😎👍Nice everyone loves the Lunch Box!! You need a lipo low voltage beeper alarm for that with the kit esc. Can't wait to see it running!
Yeah, I have one but left it at home. I'm off doing the drive review now. I just won't drive it very long to be safe.
Super cool van bro. Thanks for sharing!!!
Thanks for checking in DJ!
Love it Ryan so friggin cool this Lunch box van, great yellow paint job and upgrades you have done to it, Thumbs up from me ! 😎👍
Looks really cool!!!
👍😀👍
It is!!!
Super nice
Thanks Bryan!
And the original ESC was analog, and was prone to smoking a little bit. 😄
yep lol
nice LUNCH ‼︎👍
Thanks!!
Scooby doo van! That’s what it remind me of.

RD's Drone Reviews no problem, my pleasure!
Nice
Thanks! I'm finishing a Blitzer Beetle build so I'll be featuring that next on my channel.
Just got mine, did you use primer or just paint on the white body ? 👍🏻
Just paint the body and then I added clear coat

Here in the UK many are sold without the ESC as most people want to use their own. Brings the price down by £10 also.
Nice music lol
Could you tell me what the wheel base is on it?
I would have to try and look later. You should be able to find it on the Tamiya product page or Tower Hobbies should have it on their website.
Shocks aren't gonna make a difference? Oooooooohhhhhhh boy! Night and day difference
The shocks I used sucked though. Obviously a good set of shocks with the correct weight oil and the right springs will make a big difference.
Does it Dgent?
I have no idea what you mean.
@@RDsRCReviews It's a reference to the music. Search does it Dgent in youtube.. You'll love it.
How big is the scale of the Van body?
I believe it is 1/12th
I just checked and it isn't easy to see in my video but you can see 1:12 scale on the box.
Does it look a bit small for 1/12 scale? Does it scale well with 6” figs?

Action figures, planning to do a Battlevan for my 1:12 Punisher action figure
It looks like it was never used
It hasn't been driven a whole lot but you can see quite a bit of road rash if you look closely.
