- The fact that the word peace is used 353 times in the Bible is a clear indication of its importance. Yet national conflicts, political disagreements, broken relationships, and internal anxiety often characterize the world in which we live.
Jesus came to offer us a better way: “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful” (John 14:27).
In this message, Dr. Stanley explains how Christ can set us free from thoughts that steal our peace. We don’t have to haul around a load of insecurity, inadequacy, and hurt when we have a Savior who can heal and deliver us, replacing our burden with His peace and joy.

I had joy I had peace, I don't like conflict, but I'm seventy this past week....and I've lost peace, joy and self confidence. I read my bible, I meditate I pray and I listen for his guidance..I do this every day. I forgive over and over trying to make a difference... I give it to God, but somehow I take it back and I don't want to be this way anymore..pray for me..thank you. I praise God daily all that I have are blessings from him. Amen!

I had that conflict of bringing up my own past to a new potential boyfriend. I had to stop. And I said ..this as of today is my life. Not then but today. I felt like I regretted myself more than I should by bringing up my own past. Realizing I wanted peaces and acceptance of wiser goals. I choose to live without regret and false pride. Is when I'm allowing Jesus to guide me...but when I put him aside and things start going bad they only get worse and sometimes come down like a ton of bricks... I was abused as a child and my head is still full of negative thoughts and I am working on taking every thought captive. This was a great message to encourage me to keep battling these thoughts.

I really needed to hear this. Everyday I wake up with negative and bitter emotions, and I go to sleep with them too. It took a toll on me, emotionally and spiritually. I want peace in my life in every aspect. God is good all the time, and all the time He is good. We just have to surrender.

I have been feeling so much anxiety the last several days. I had prayed and asked God to free me of its and the verse “Seek yea first the kingdom of God”, knock and the door will be opened. God brought me here to Dr. Stanley this has brought me so. Much instant peace. Thank you Heavenly Father

Anxiety is such a curse on our lives. It's the number 1 tool of the enemy. We must remember to trust in God always. The war is already one for us. Our enemy has already been defeated. All we have to do is walk it out and help spread the message so others can receive salvation too.

We all need surround ourselves with like minded people who believe in Christ Jesus just like we do. That’s where we get our encouraging from beside the word itself. I pray we all stand strong against the evil day and having done all to stand.
Remove yourself from trouble, and ppl that you can't change. Pray for the problem,pray for ppl. Love ppl from a far. Don't put yourself in a unhappy situation.or round ppl that's full of drama and hatred and problems. Pray for them and for yourself 🙏✝️. It will give you a peace of mind. You can't change ppl who is stuck in a unhappy life. Get yourself together Jesus will work things out..✝️🙏💯🙌
Yes it is hard- and it could very well be that Satan knows this is a weak point in your life- so He piles it on- But remember, what Satan means for evil, God means for good- Wake up each morning and say to God "Thank You Lord for preparing to use EVERYTHING that will come into My Life today, good and bad, for your purposes and glory. Help me to see conflict not as a burden, but as something that You have allowed in my life for Your purposes, and for my spiritual growth- and help me to learn, day by day, to react to it not in anger or sadness, but in a way that is honoring to You. I'm sorry I take on these conflicts personally, and exclude You every time, and react in a manner that is not honoring to You. Bring to my mind, every time I am caught up in such situations, that You are allowing it because You love me and want me to grow in my relationship with You. Help me learn to react in Christian love instead of worldly hate and forgive me when I forget this and react wrongly- in Jesus name Amen"
One of the best sermons ever. I've been going through panic. Panic attacks are no fun. I'm learning to deal with them and understand why they are happening to me. A lot of it has to do with upbringing and my own behavior as a result. I'm getting good Christian therapy for PTSD. I believe God is the ultimate therapist, but he created good Christian therapists to help us, too. There are so many wonderful Bible verses to guide us through fear, my favorite being Phiippians 4:6-7. It has saved my sanity!!
I try to recite that scripture every time that I feel anxiety building in me and I pray that God will help me to believe it and apply it to my life. It has brought me so much comfort during very dark times and it has strengthened my walk with God. I pray that God will walk close to you when you feel the panic creeping in and that you will feel His peace. Thank God that the Spirit that dwells in us is greater than our weakness. 💕
People we always talk about.you stay focus on Jesus He created you He didn't mess up on anyone.

I wasted 45 years of my life with addiction and sin, sin,sin. Abandoning my children for my selfishness. When I finally told God I was willing to give the addition up. The next day the urges were gone. I continued to drink and reading the bible before I was willing to stop the sin.When you admit to God you are ready to have him take it away, then it will be done. Good luck and prayers, don't wait till u r 59 to get a new start.
"At war with myself!" Dr Stanley lives on through these messages. It hit me to my soul. Conflict with my 69 year old son who lives with me. Thank you, Lord for leading me here today.

I Really Needed to hear this, I'm at Peace and I surrender all to Thee.
I find myself at most peace and in a state of 'flow-mode' when I'm living a life obedience, because I feel closest to Him, if I take it for granted and begin to stray...it's like night and day how my peace gradually subsides. The Father and Christ Jesus truly are the filling of the void everyone tries to fill. How faithful, merciful, loving and kind He is to draw us back and forgive us, in Jesus' name. He is worthy and deserving of all praise.
When I have bad thoughts about myself I remember that I am a new creation in Christ Jesus.
I feel blessed because of listening to all the adversity dr Stanley lived through. It has made him a better pastor. Thank you Lord.

I’ve had great peace until recently when surrounded by certain people that have a lot of negative thoughts/things to say. I then stumble and allow others to affect my internal peace which results in my negativity impacting those closest to me. Please pray for me to be strong & to be like a rock solid statue amongst a windy storm. Praise God and Charles Stanley for being a great teacher/friend all these years

Please pray for my neighbor, she has vandalized property, stolen property and when the sheriffs dept came and saw our property on their carport, they did absolutely nothing and that fed the vessel for satin and she has got worse. Please pray for her cause it's so obvious satin has control over her life, her heart. She is miserable and wants to inflict her bitterness on all around her. She doesn't have respect for herself so there is no way she can have respect for any one else. I forgive her for all the stealing, vandalizing, verbal abuse and mental abuse she has put upon my mother...not me. I see her for what she is, the devil's vessel to spread hate and aggravation. I feel so sorry for her. When you see her, she is so unhappy. Please pray for her. I hope God wins her soul.

Pastor Charles Stanley is a very wise servant of GOD our Father through JESUS CHRIST our LORD. It's nothing but the Holy Spirit that is using this Man of GOD. I consider him as a Father in the Ministry of the "Good News" of "The Great Commission" in which I have a relationship with the "Triune GOD"....Blessings people who know the same and have conquered the "Peace" he is teaching. What a Blessing to have!
I'm usually very skeptical of famous pastors or pastors in general but I really feel closer to God when I listen to his sermons. Its refreshing to hear preaching that's straight to the point and points me back to Christ. Thank you for being faithful in your work for God Dr Stanley!
