Peter and Brian therefore go back to fix Peter’s and Lois’ relationship. It just happens that Peter and Lois go to a dance place, and the band lacks a guitarist, so Brian joins them.
Probably unquestionably one of the best moments in the show. Honestly the scene before this one where Brian watches the kids disappear from the photo pretty much praying peter will come through while Earth Angel is playing in the background then watching Peter take Lois back from Quagmire and ACTUALLY doing one of the only genuinely romantic heartfelt displays of affection in the whole is such a strong lead in to this 100% earned celebratory ending number
Honestly whenever I rewatch family guy all the way through this is always the episode I look forward to, by far my favourite ever, I get it’s a BTTF parody with a meme in place tor Johnny B good, but seeing Peter want to relive his youth and end up realising the truth was all along he did it right. This is honestly my favorite family guy episode because of my mom for two different reasons: As a kid with local network and no cable this was like one of the only cartoons i could watch so my mom would watch with me despite the adult humor But when we finally got cable, she introduced me to back to the future and since i was a 90s baby it was before my time, so i never saw it. So when we watched it i remember her looking at me smiling when i began to realize that this is where family guy got the inspiration for the episode. Fun times
