I have the blue build plates from big tree and they do work so good, I use them for cold print PETG. It's amazing. I will say I have had no adhesion problems like you though, I got them for cold printing. I also exclusively use kingroon PETG for my business it print good if you tune settings a bit and lower temps slightly.
"Garage storage racks" on Home Depot (or similar sites) returns those shelves. Husky is a popular brand in the US. There are multiple lengths available and you can buy additional shelves w/o additional uprights. They are cheap, heavy duty, etc. We use them a lot and they're great. We also cover the wire racking with thick plastic sheets or wood. Questions for you: (1) how quickly does a printer pay for itelself? Say an A1 (2) how long does it take to dial in the quality on a new design and do you have to do it again when you try new filaments? (3) Why do you like the big tree tech build plates over the Bambu sheets?
I purchased 10KG each of Kingroon Black, White, and Tri-color and the quality is awesome. Free shipping and no tax made the price exactly as advertised with the discount provided.
To get the most stable base for a printer I use paving slabs, not the really big thick ones but they work so well and do help a little with print quality.
Did you find a painted 3mf for the candy corn or did you have to paint them yourself? I've got Zou3D Patreon but haven't seen these with painted 3mf anywhere.
If the ports stay closed for a considerable period of time I am expecting a big Q4, a lot of holiday toys etc should be coming in around now to be in the stores for Nov - Dec. If they miss that window, etsy and other online sellers that are already US based should see a big boom.
Curious, how come we don’t have adhesion issues out of those supposedly same build plates on the P-Series but we have adhesion issues out of the texture PEI a series? Same deal in my farm
Hey man those black racks. You can buy very thick nice particle board that is made for the racks. Tongue and groove and I paint the boards with truck bed liner spray paint
The BigTreeTech plates look almost identical to what Sliceworx has. I get mine from Sliceworx vs BigTreeTech because they ship quicker. I'm still waiting on a build plate from BTT that I ordered almost three weeks ago. Ordered a Sliceworx last week and already have it installed on one of my P1S printers.
@@Dancyn3Dprints yeah the look of the plates you have from BTT and the ones I have from Sliceworx look identical. Just not a fan that BTT doesnt bother with a warehouse in the states to make it easier to ship product to a large base of buyers in the industry
Fantastic info. Thank you! I am going to check out Temu for boxes. Those things have skyrocketted in price the last 2 years. I mainly do cosplay stuff, so my Q4 is pretty dead (NYCC is my last hurrah for the year). Prior to the pandemic we were steady all year with a 'hard push' June through October, but now days the winter is dead for us. The dead season does allows us to focus on new product though, which is kind-of nice. :)
You should try some seasonal things maybe so that you're not completely dead in november/December .. small things like articulating fidgets or stocking stuffed typically sell well
You crack me up.. Pai sheet from bambu is badass.. BTT works for a short time then peels up.. so you have to replace.. Bambu also specifies NO Alcohol for cleaning.. it ruins PEI sheet. Yes I may not have your volume but doesn't mean my printers don't print 24/7 but I do agree with you elegoo and many others use same or similar filament branding..
No ipa for the textured sheet? I've always used ipa for textured maybe I misread or was misinformed. If thay is the case I use a tone of ipa to clean the beds
Since this is going to be your first fair, how do you estimate the quantities of items to bring/print? I am doing a fair aswell and I’m pretty clueless on how to estimate it.
@@deeply999 Thanks for the answer. Sorry, didn't realize you've done them before :) As this will be my first time printing minis anyway, I have nothing to bring.
