Is it possible to see Positano in 2 hours?! Italy's Amalfi Coast

Our trip to Positano, Italy didn't go to plan! We couldn't catch a direct ferry from Naples to Positano, and we had to make a pit-stop in Sorrento on the way. This left us with only 2 hours to see as much as we could of the town of Positano! Watch us gobble down plates of pasta and hit the road, or should I say STAIRS, as we literally run through the narrow, quaint streets of this beautiful Italian seaside town on the luxurious Amalfi Coast. If you are planning on taking a day trip to Positano, please don't make the same mistake we did. Instead, give yourself ample time to soak up the experience of visiting this legendary vacation destination. It truly is worth the hype!

Hm, that’s a tough call! Before I visited the Amalfi coast, Positano was my DREAM. But now that I’ve been to both, I think I would choose to stay in sorrento as a base. It’s bigger, so you have more restaurant/cafe/beach/hotel,etc. options. It was also less crowded and touristy, at least it was in August. I’m also guessing that it would be cheaper than positano? Hope this helps 😊
