which month you guys went? We are planning to go april 1st week
@@AliceHindustani We went at the end of March so April should be similar to when we went!
Thank you for the video. My biggest takeaway is to visit off season which I may not have chosen prior to watching your video. I also very much appreciate your tip on Sorrento. I'll be watching that video next
Great video guys! I’ve watched all of your sorrento / Italy vids they’ve helped me so much. I’m staying just under a week in Sorrento and we have a day planned for Capri and a day planned for Pompeii. We originally thought of doing one day at Positano and one day at Amalfi, would you recommend this or just do both in one day like you guys did?
Great video on Almafi Coast! Never been there but I’ll be visiting Almafi in early November which I’m not sure what to expect weather wise! For sure I wouldn’t go during the peak season as it’s absolutely a nightmare, very expensive and crowded! I’ll see how it’s going to be, hopefully not crowded and not too rainy! Thank you for your great tips!!
In November it will definitely more towards the cold temperature, but it will be lovely without crowds 😌 Hope you have the best time!
Really like your honest opinions of the places you visit re pros and cons
So glad to hear! Thank you for watching ☺️
Love the sound of the waves! We are going to Almafi in March. Thank you
It was so relaxing to hear and look at the sea 🌊 Hope you have an amazing time on your trip! 👐
hey guys.. thanks for the vlogs. We are planning a trip to Sorrento then visiting the Amalfi towns..!
Oh amazing!! Hope you have an amazing time 🙌
@@NALBATRAVELS 🙏🙏
Thank you very much, your video is very nice!
Thank you for pointing out the differences between Amalfi coast area and Sorrento. It’s been very helpful
Our pleasure!
This was so informative! I'll be in staying Sorrento this August and had started second guessing my decision to stay there versus the Amalfi coast, but now I'm glad I made that decision! Thank you.
So glad to hear that! You will not regret it 😊 Hope you have the best time 🫶
Going to Sorrento in two weeks time. Really loved the music when you were in Amalfi...
Amazing! You will love it there ☺️ Thank you for watching the video, glad you like the music!
Very nice vlog 👍I ❤️ Positano 🇮🇹
Great video! Thank you for sharing. Greetings from Budapest 🙃
Thank you! ☺️ All the best
Love your videos and you guys energy. Beautiful couple too! Traveling this summer and hoping to see these places!
Aww thanks so much! That makes us happy 😍 Hope you enjoy your trip!!
Really useful information and amazing views😍 Thank you ☺️
The views really are amazing! Glad you found it useful ☺️
I’m a new subscriber on your channel and I’m very happy I discovered it. You guys are adorable and I love your videos. Thank you both for your very informative advice 👍❤️
Thanks so much for your kind words! Really appreciate your support ☺️ So glad to have you here 🙌🏼
Thank you so much for the usful information about this part of Italy. I am planing to visit these places in September 2022. Do you recommend to include Capri in my plan?.
Glad you found it useful! That sounds amazing, you will love it ☺️ We haven’t visited Capri ourselves but we have heard mixed reviews. It’s very expensive but it might be nice to visit if you have time!
thank you for your tips. Your advise helped me make clear decision to stay in Sorrento and as well visiting Positano and Amalfi. How many days do you recommend to stay in Sorrento?
We're glad to hear! I would say 3 days in Sorrento is good. 1 to explore the town, 1 to explore Amalfi and Positano, and 1 more as a bonus 😁
Hi can you help me to know the weather of December and how’s the festivity in the amalfi , postiano ?
Really enjoying these videos - it's very helpful for our own planning. What month were you visiting?
Glad you found it useful! We were there in March 😊
At 3:08 why he should be avoiding lemoncello sweet? Because he doesn't like lemons?
I actually like lemons, but didn't expect it to be so bitter when I tried it 😂
Great videos. Which bus did you take from Sorrento to Amalfi and Positano? Online tickets?
Thanks so much! We bought the tickets at the train station and the bus stop is just in front of it. It’s the local bus and there’s only one 😊 Not sure if you can buy the tickets online!
Hi there! I'm planning on visiting Positano at the end of March this year and we'd love to visit Capri by boat, but can't seem to find many options from Positano. Were ferries/boats operating from Positano when you guys went? Or would we have to get a ferry from Sorrento? Thanks!! :)
Amazing! Hope you have an amazing time 🙌 I don’t recall seeing any ferries leaving from Positano, but we didn’t stay there so I’m not 100% sure. The locals did tell us that during off-season there is very limited transport via ferry, so it’s very possible you need to go to Sorrento to take it! You will be able to find out once you arrive. At this time of the year I doubt tickets will be sold out in advance 😊
@@NALBATRAVELS Thank you so much! Your videos actually convinced us to plan for a night staying in Sorrento as well since it seems so lovely☺️.
@@lohithsurapaneni5578 glad to hear that! You will have an amazing time 😊
Loved the video! I am thinking of travelling there in January, however, I am unsure of the best way to reach the Amalfi in winter (as it seems like many ferry’s do not operate)?
Thank you!! Glad you liked it 😌 Yes there are no ferries operating at that time of the year, so you’d have to take the same route as we did - train + bus is what runs during off peak season
What month did you guys go?
I am planning to do Italy on budget, how you guys recommend going from Rome to Amlafi?
Bus or train? Can you recommend please
Hey! Not sure of the cost of that trip as we haven’t done it ourselves but bus is probably slightly more economical. You should check out this bus company called Flixbus we have used them before and we had a good experience.
which month you guys went? We are planning to go april 1st week
We were there end of March! 😊
What month was this? I watched another video made in October and the crowds were still crazy and overwhelming.
We went in late March/April, just before the Easter holidays
Thank-you! Apparently that region is crazy crowded from May to October and slightly less crowded in the off-season from November to April but as you guys said, the towns and streets are small and it's still pretty crowded even then! 😅
Where to buy ticket n hostel...Any link n Google map for exploration this whole area..thxs.
You can buy the bus ticket at the train station in Sorrento 😊
An another option can be to take the bus from Salerno
Absolutely! We considered this option too but ended up settling for Sorrento 😊
New here sub’d! 🙏🏽
Welcome aboard!! Glad to have you here ☺️
Which season is off Season ? When can we see the bougainvillea blooms ?
Usually the winter months in Italy are the ones that are considered off-season. From Easter week is when the prices start to increase dramatically! I believe the blooms happen during Spring (May to July)
When exactly did you travel in your video? What month? Thank you!
Hi, I’m planning to visit Rome and just do a day visit to amalfi, positano and sorrento. Do you think it’s doable in a day and it looks like I can take bus to all three ? Thanknyou
Rome is beautiful and there is so much to see and do. The bus from there to Amalfi takes close to 4 hours, which if you count going and returning in the same day, it´s 8+ hours, so I don’t recommend doing it in 1 day. If you were to stay in Naples however, I think going from there to Amalfi on a day trip is definitely possible :)
Where did you stay in Sorrento? I’m planning to make it my home base to visit the island for 2 days. 🙏
hey. which month specifically you were here?
In March I believe 😊
Coming to amalfi on the 22nd, is it going to be crowdy?
There will be plenty of people, but it will no be nowhere near as crowded as from June onwards. April is normally a pretty good month to visit. Enjoy! 😊
What month was it ?
We went at the end of March
In which month did you visit?
March 😊
Which month of the year did you go?
We went around the end of March/early April I believe
We're going there in mid April. How's thr weather?
Should be great in terms of temperature! The only thing is that if you're unlucky it can rain a little - but these things are impossible to predict. Either way you'll have a great time for sure. Have fun!
Im coming to Italy on May 16th. When exactly is off season? What dates were you guys actually there?
Amazing! You will love it, in May the weather is already better. We were there at the end of March and they consider off-season anything before Easter. But in May there still won’t be too many people and already good weather.
When is the beginning of winter ?
Is this the fall or early spring off season?
It was early spring :)
@@NALBATRAVELS THANKS! Great Video!
I’m planning on going to Positano in January how do you think the weather will be like? Would you recommend going there in January? Let me know please ! :)
Hey Chelsea, in January it'll be cold for sure, but that is fine! I just hope it doesn't rain because Amalfi and Positano are out in the open 😊
Would you recommend staying in Positano? for a summer trip to the amalfi coast, or would you recommend staying in Amalfi and doing a day trip to Positano?
Yeah Positano is nicer if you can afford it 😋 But what we actually recommend is Sorrento. Better value for money, bigger and only an hour away from Positano and Amalfi! You can check our video about it here: th-cam.com/video/EUdZPpgPLxI/w-d-xo.html
How was the weather??
It was “jacket weather”. Not hot enough to enjoy the beach or a boat ride but pleasant to walk around without a big coat 😊 We were lucky that it was sunny during the day and we didn’t get any rain but it can happen during this season.
Cualquier opción es buena para visitar la bella costa Amalfitana, a ser posible fuera de temporada alta👍🏻
What were your travel dates?
We were there end of March just before Easter 😊
may I know which month did u go? :) thx a lot
We went in March 😊
It looks too cold. Not worth going in off season
It was about 18C / 66F so not hot enough for beach activities but not too cold either
Which month did you visit?
Hey! We were there in March 😊
