I knew it was about to get intense the moment when the lead vocalist changed guitars to Gibson, and the percussionist went for the djembe drum. The Tuareg music is very intense, nostalgic, melodic and involved.

He is actuly a nomad from the far south of Algeria near the border of Niger in the african Sahel in the Heart of the Sahara 55* in the summer and 29 in the winter time .he is young and he like to play all sort of music so don't be an ass
They all are nomads. Actually that’s how they're so good at music they have the time to practice and that’s the only way to distract yourself in the desert.

These guys played in OKC a few months ago and absolutely blew me away. I bought both their albums and they are in heavy rotation.
He's very humble and even acknowledges that they were influenced by Tinariwen and Ali Farka Toure.
