Ah yes, Freddie was the ultimate 'cool cat'... the video was the band arriving at Budapest, Hungary, the one and only time they performed behind the "iron curtain"... he was sampling some of the home-brew (moonshine) of the Hungarians.. AND, as was typical of Freddie, him and Brian learned and performed a Hungarian folk song for their fans... anything for the fans... blessings.
Great video ❤ Concert and 1st tour behind Iron curtain in Budapest 😊 Song is super cool with ‘black funk’ influences and disco etc Thanks from Cape Town South Africa 🇿🇦
Originally, Cool Cat featured backing vocals by David Bowie. However, unhappy with the results, just days before the album was scheduled to be released, he requested his vocals be removed, but Freddie's falsetto is amazing! His speaking voice was mostly very soft, it's worth to watch to his rare interviews, Freddie was an intelligent and funny guy. I can suggest you the Bob Harris, Molly Meldrum, David Wigg, Lisa Robinson, Freddie and Dave Clark interviews.
ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONGS, THANK YOUUU…. More proof that Queen’s BEST music is in their Deep Cuts, which a lot of the public have never even heard. And, as one reactor said: “Freddie could sing 20 different songs and sound like 20 different people”!🥰
The video is of their time in Budapest, Queen played the first concert behind the iron curtain the crowd came from all over eastern Europe There are some great interviews on TH-cam of queen and Freddie. Ine of the best ones is The musical prostitiute the interviews are very popular. I would always use videos off the Queen official channel that way you get the correct visuals and they never block
The video is made of clips from when they played in Budapest. They are the first band to play a stadium behind the Iron Curtain. People came from all over the Eastern Bloc to see them. Freddie learned how to sing one of their favorite folk songs in Hungarian and the citizens still reflect on that fondly to this day.
If you enjoy reading (or listening to) books, I recommend Peter "Ratty" Hince's "Queen Unseen." Ratty was Freddy's and bassist John Beacon's personal roadie (the shaggy haired guy crouching by the piano with the smooth mic hand-offs) and the band's head crew tech for 12 years and brings a fascinating honest perspective to the logistical wizardry and initiative problem solving skills required to support high maintenance mercurial Freddy, low maintenance John and the general needs of a top tier talented band of professional entertainers deeply bonded to each other. Peter left to pursue his dream career of photography, and while Queen was somewhat bereft by his leaving, they supported his new direction. I enjoyed listening to the audiobook and have Freddy's personal assistant Peter Freestone's book in the queue to read.
This is another song that shows the diversity of this band ……I really like this song. You should react to “Good Old Fashion Lover Boy” and then “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” Thank you for your reactions
Check out som wood his interviews for his speaking voice Or Making of ‘one vision’ This was their final tour as the original Queen The magic tour in ‘86 This concert is awesome 😊
You should hear Exercises in Free Love-Freddie Mercury solo. BTW, the blond woman with him is his ex-Fiance@‘, life-long friendafterwards Mary Austin. Also another song, YOU TAKE MY BREATH AWAY-Hyde Park, 1976…excellent. But so are all the songs.

That's such a fascinating piece of history! Queen truly had a profound impact, and it's amazing how music can bridge cultural divides.
