Kara’s funny personality was wonderful in this vlog!
Capetown is quickly becoming one of my favorite cities you've ever been to. I think it's stunning in so many ways. Between the incredible beaches and mountains, it's aesthetically idyllic. One of the things I love most is all the different influences that are seen throughout the city; I see Dutch, French, Italian, Caribbean and Indian touches around every corner. And the food is so varied, you can find anything you want depending on your mood. I can totally see how someone might want to live here.
What about AFRICAN.... ya know since thats where they are... and what majority of the people ethnically are.
I don't know if you realized it at the 2:58 mark and just before the man you gave the food too dug in. Y'all did a wonderful thing because I think he was truly hungry!

Glad it was "only" cold on the boat and it wasn't rough or very wavy water and cold because the open trampoline area on the front of a Sailing Catamaran is designed to let the waves splash through them to reduce pressure on the hull and prevent fractures in the fiberglass. It's caused by the stress and pressure of the sails pulling on the mast which goes through the hull and is mounted to the bottom of it. When the waves hit and lift the front of a sailing hull with no opening it trys to bend the boat at the middle. That's why Sailing Cat's have the trampolines to recover their lost deck area, but powered (motor driven only) Cat's have solid decks at the front because of no mast strain. You would have been really cold sitting on the front deck if you were wet also! 🥶😱

Hi Kara and Nate, I've been a fan of your Vlog for a long time now since you started doing the 100 country trip Vlog up till now with the cross-country tour in the van. Still hoping you guys will visit Chicago and take in the Navy Pier Fireworks.
