I'm a true city dweller with a postage stamp sized backyard. Your garden in the suburbs would have been my happy place as a single woman. Glad you settled in a location that speaks to your spirit. Nice to meet you! Yep Jim was born in a big city and grew up in a downtown row house. As an adult he moved to the suburbs. I was always in extreme rural farm country. So it was a shock for me to move into the suburbs. The first night I couldn’t sleep because of people talking, mowers running, trains, sirens, etc. I never got used to it. Now we hear crickets, coyotes, cows, and the rain on the roof. It’s my little piece of Heaven.

Can honey be vacuum sealer in jars for long time storage?

Yes! It’s recommended that you wash your jars in hot soapy water. Then dry in the oven on low. Then fill and vacuum seal. Great question!

So please tell me how easy or hard it was to move with your canning? I plan to move in 2 yrs so it's keeping me in the hemming and hawing phase but I would like to get the vac sealer.. ?? Thanks!

@@1940sDream I moved all my canning. I don’t think it was hard but I do think it took priority. I put them in the original canning boxes. Topped with a towel. And taped it all over. I then used my car to transport, not the moving truck.
