- Blake and Neil fancied an escape from the horrible weather of a British winter; so they packed up bikes and surfboards and headed to Portugal to ride some epic mountain bike trails, sample some of the local surf spots, and view legendary waves like Nazaré 🤘

You should pay a visit to Brazil, there are some great trails. I would recommend you to visit 3 different places:
1 - Zoom Bike Park: Campos do Jordão City, São Paulo State, BR (great trails for every level (blue, red, black).
2 - Urubici City, Santa Catarina State, BR (great views, lot's of enduro trails, check Serra do Corvo Branco)
3 - Chapada Diamantina Reserve (Lençóis City), Bahia State, BR: Great landscapes (amazing waterfalls)
Utah! - BTW loved Portugal for a short visit a few years ago, looks like we have to go back watching this video

Two of my favorite sports. Started mountain biking to stay in shape for surfing and loved it so much that MTB took over. Good idea for a MTB and and surf trip together. I will have to try that one day. Epic!!!
Amazing quality. A really great watch. I like the production quality and it felt more like an adventure story than something specifically tailored to mountain biking (which I think is a good thing). It felt like it had the great elements of an interesting place, people, and activities. Biking is primarily about just about getting out and I think this video shows that...well to me at least.

You hit some great spots! Too bad the surfing was too big in Ericeira, not uncommon this time of year, but plenty of riding to be done on those days there too! 🤘

I started surfing 23 years ago when i was 12, took it extremely seriousley and have been a complete addict ever since, my whole life revovles around surfing. Being away from the ocean for long periods of time can make me really depressed. It is the best thing that has ever happened to me.
The one downside that surfing has is that you are very dependant on the conditions, There aren't waves everyday, and even if there are there has to be perfect harmony between various conditions such as swell direction and height, wind direction and speed, crowd in the lineup an so on.
And that's why, for those non surfing days i recently picked up a new passion: Mountain biking- the second best thing that happened in my life. Joined a group of highly skilled and experienced riders who pushed me to the limit since day 1 and brought me very fast to their level of riding.
Now i feel complete, there is no such thing as a day that is wasted.
The quality on GMBN just keeps going up and up. Love it. It's the only MTB channel you need.
Best episode of GMBN ever!!! You guys should be proud of what you've produced for this episode. The only way it would have been better would be bringing Sam Pilgrim along.
Blake is an absolute stud! I am 35 and only just got into biking. I just wanted to say how much I love watching Blake’s videos. They inspire me to get out and ride and enjoy life as he does. Also wanted to tell you boys to not forget just how good you have it. I am currently in medical school and rarely have free time to ride. You boys get to do epic adventures and such all the time. Don’t forget how good you have it and keep making amazing content so people like me can keep dreaming of our next vacation!

I saw this only recently. Not only is it fun and relaxing to watch, it also is a piece of art. What great showcase of videography, astounding colour grading, fascinating camera angles and perfect switches between images to transport the story.
I lived in the UK for 5 years, then moved back to Lisbon and started surfing. Have been watching this channel for about a couple of weeks and am really happy to know you guys have been around. And dang... now I need to start mountain biking! Incredible how lucky we are for what this country has to offer. And you portrayed it amazingly well.

I would agree with Blake's description of himself as a Tasmanian devil bombing down a trail- fun and crazy to watch. But Jack is wrong calling Neil boring. I think of Neil as a Ninja Master on the bike- fast, sharp and clean cutting his lines down any trail. One can learn a lot from a Ninja Master.
