An experiment idea. What if you had three non league teams one with a perfect player, one with perfect facilities and one with 1billion dollars. Then you can find out which team will be the most successful
I’ve never played football manager I’ve never watched a match of football I have no idea who any of these teams and people are. But holy hell I’ve been watching these all day.
Here in Brasil we have a non league club with awesome facilities called Retro FC They only have 3 years of existence. They are aiming big things for the next 10-15 years
I don't think I've watched a golden fm video in about a year, but to randomly have this pop up and jump in...it's like getting coffee with an old friend :) Hope you and yours are doing very well.
As someone who's been editing on FM games since they were Champ Manager titles 20+ years ago, I can see an issue just 3 mins into the vid, by giving perfect facilities and staff but not increasing the budget means the club is going to lose a lot of money because of the upkeep costs of maintain these facilities, also a club with perfect staff, facilities and a better stadium would have a better reputation because of these factors.
Oh wow, good spot - That will be the son of the data analyst at the club called Mr Perfect Analyst! The game creates staff member regen sons sometimes!
@@GoldenFM That's hilarious! I had no idea that FM created staff member regen sons...I wonder if that's relatively new, or when it started happening. Thanks for the video, you learn something every day about FM!
Where I come from Chelmsford was an infamous mental hospital that was closed down for excessive abuses of the patients. And Marconi is a well known Sydney football club. Carry on.
You grew up in Chelmsford? You have my commiserations from one similarly afflicted. I remember the Melbourne stadium well as I ran for Chelmsford AC for 10 years while Chelmsford City were still playing by the river next to the cricket ground. I see they are still playing home games on a Monday despite the new stadium. That is because the athletics club trains on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Really enjoying your videos mate, only started watching a couple of weeks back. Almost therapeutic 😂 this one was a really good idea, looking forward to part two 👍
Mate, when looking at the potential of the squads, add column - hidden - current ability and potential then you can see the whole squad's stats at a glance rather than editing everytime. Edit: Just got to Part 3!
A suggestion for an FM experiment save that requires a bit of preparation work. A test of what FM attributes are the most important ones. Pick 20 attributes of interest (technique, work rate, strength, decisions etc) as there are 20 PL clubs. For each PL club assign one of the attributes, for example Arsenal (Technique), Aston Villa (Work Rate), Brighton (Strength), Burnley (Decisions) etc. Then in the editor, set all teams in the PL to have a one-season transfer embargo and change ALL players at club to have 1 in all attributes except for one that is set to 20, ie all attributes 1 except Technique 20 for Arsenal. Holiday a season and see how it pans out.
idk if you still read the comments on your old videos etc, but love your videos and i have an experiment idea what if the league prize money was reversed i.e the bottom (or bottom non relagated teams of those leagues) of the vanarama north/south win what currently the premier league winners would win and epl has there prize money so the winner of the epl gets basically nothing keep the tv money the same but irl theres that worry of fiancial ruin with relegation from epl to championship, it would be interesting to see a situation where being promoted is actually the bigger worry financially and would be interesting to see how the teams in north south improve espeically seems its almost like a lower league catapault
Amazing vid... Have you ever think about a video with a team from another country, for example union Magdalena from Colombia, it is the team of my city and it is in the second division.... And pls post the second part fast
I think Colchester It's usually play in front of 4-5,000 fans so Chelmsford are catching up fast. (You know, unless were playing Man Utd. That's was a weird nite)
You mentioned that you need 12,500 to be able to get into the Premier League but Bournemouth have 11,329 as their total capacity at Dean Court (Vitality Stadium)
I'm surprised the A.I teams didn't poach the Perfect staff. Also, you should look for players with the most improved attributes at the end of the season - considering you have perfect facilities/coaches.
Great series!! Can you point me in the direction of how to arrange a future transfer in the in game editor? I want to lock someone in a club for 10 years then move him into another club.
Any chance the next experiment you could do could involve Darlington in the National League North, i know you can't do everyone's team but i have never seen an experiment that involves them and it would be nice to see my team be involved.
You kind of overlooked players coming in on loan every season in your transfers recap, they were pretty much always the ones with the bigger impact in the end. Actuallly it's pretty strange because as soon as the club reached Championship they stopped getting young talented players on loan and instead bought loads of average players... might explain the really bad season ?
How can you get the attitude like in your team overviews? I'm a complete newcomer to FM and think it's really great. Can you help me there Golden FM? Keep it up, English is not my mother tongue, but you can still see everything.
For a 'perfect' manager, his level of discipline would be 20 also as this is required for 'perfect' coaching (along with determination and motivating, this is for EVERY coaching type) - so that you need less 5* coaches for 'perfect' training. Same with the coaches that have 10 for level of discipline. Search 'fm coach star calculator' for full requirements for each coaching type. Go to 'Training' then 'Coaches' for coach star overview.
Is there a way to make everyone get perfect 20 in all attributes quick? Or are you really doing one by one manually? I see that you can duplicate templates on players in the in game editor. But not for staff. How are u doing it?
You can't really see that unless you are manager of the club, apart from manually looking and comparing between two different save files which is a bit laborious
i would like to see what would happen if mr perfect played for the worst national teams in afc, caf, ofc and concacaf (i omitted uefa and conmebol because uefa is very competitive (from the san marino vid) and conmebol because everyone there are pretty decent)
I believe grass is not the best option for stadium if you check big teams stadium they use synthetic+grass or something like that I don’t really remember tho
the board always wanted to downgrade the facilities due to "technological advancements"......hated that decision and set them back to 20 with editor......
An experiment idea. What if you had three non league teams one with a perfect player, one with perfect facilities and one with 1billion dollars. Then you can find out which team will be the most successful
Yes
And put him up at striker so he can have the biggest impact possible
To do this more 'scientifically' use the same team in three separate saves, see which does the best.
And then set future transfer so he can't leave maybe
Allied Atheist Alliance That is the more scientific way but really, doing 3 teams in one save file is more fun!

We don’t care mate
Get. The. Game.
Are you an alien?
Time to play the game bro
Whatever you do, DON'T GET THE GAME. I started playing this 10 years ago, I'm still hooked
"I'll call him 'Alfred'.", and somewhere in Salzburg, Dominik Szoboszlai is still crying.
😂

Andy Fennell is from Chelmsford. Played for their under 11's all the way up to under 18's
Brilliant, thanks for confirming Mark!

Level of Discipline, motivating & determination for any coach is paramount. Those three need to be on 20 in any case.

They have balls in australia ? Damn
The mental hospital was probably named for the fool who lost an army at Isandwana. So it’s probably appropriate...
this feels like you simulated RB leipzig... i love this!!

I think it would be cool to see how the youth players who have been sold did with their new team(s) (maybe just the better ones)
Very Happy you chose my city for this experiment!
Go fuck
In the part 2 you should check how are progressing all the youth players they sold. And maybe see their "what if" best 11 :)
