    Nice design!! I've filled my pvc pipes with corks to add buoyancy, works pretty good as well.

    Pure genius! Brilliant. I have that pipe in my garage! I might make one of these even if I'm not going to use it! Thanks from the UK. Karl.

    Thank you, Kyle for your great DIY videos. I just made this floating tripod this afternoon and it looks awesome. I'm anxious to get it out on the water and try it out.

      Make sure you post the link to the sample video that would be awesome! If you don't mind also message me the link via Facebook or Twitter, and I will put it in the video description so everyone can find it! Also TH-cam sometimes flags comments with links as spam so when you message me the link I will make sure to look for the comment and approve it.

    Kyle, Ive built my own great mount easy to build only two changes I would make to your video and that is to cut the pool noodle in half then zip tie it to the mount around the pool noodle. Taking the pool noodle off allows it to dry out better and it still floats well. also the pool noodle on the front cut a section out to allow room to tie a rope and you could tie that to the back of a boat.

    Thanks for the great idea! I got a pack of 30 mounts off eBay, yet it didn't have something like this so i decided to make one myself! All up it cost about $25 AUD but i didn't have to buy any of the tools! Right now its sitting in my pool but i might gets some cool photos and videos of me and my friends at the beach!

    Awsome mount im asking for one for crismas if i get one i will sertanly bild one i love padelbparding do you think i should get the gopro hero 4 black or silver thanks your my favorot youtuber

    • @TrueElitegaming1
      @TrueElitegaming1 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Get the silver. It has an integrated touchscreen whereas the black doesn't. The only reason you might get the black over the silver is if you plan to be shooting your videos in 4K. The black is also $100 more than silver.

    I really like the super slow mo editing you use at 0:24. I have been trying to find a program that merges the frames together to get the super slow mo because it makes certain shots look so much better! Did you slow it down using final cut pro or something else?

    • @kylemartin101
      @kylemartin101  10 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I slow it down using Adobe after effects, time remapping and frame blending
      I will make a video about it and post it soon

    i had a great idea i made this with my dad and i said it would be cool to tie a thin string to the front pool noodle and connect it to the back of my kayak so i did that and it looked sick as i paddled through the river

  • @ComedyaddictsCachingStuff
    @ComedyaddictsCachingStuff 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    Well that just sucks... lol. I was thinking I was the first to have this idea but I see I'm not ;-) All jokes aside, great video and idea. You're version is a lot simpler that what I was planning on building, so I might just have to revise my plans, and tweak your plan to be a little more what I was thinking. Can't wait to see how this turns out once the ice and snow melt.

    If you add a little bit of weight to it, it won't be effected by the waves as much and it'll be steadier
