Are you ever afraid of sharks thinking you're a seal since you spend so much time surfing. I know that shark attacks are rare and they arent like intentionally attacking humans in just wondering if that ever scares you
She is probably not scared because there are people that surf way more often than her and they don't get attacked. I have been surfing since I was 6 yrs old and I'm 12 now and I pretty much surf everyday and have never seen a shark while I was in the water , except for the one day before lockdown there was a raggie but they're not scary . And my dad knows a guy who has surfed for 35 yrs and never ever seen one

Hey Eryn! I've been surfing for a couple years now here on the east coast and I was wondering, how are you not afraid of sharks? Every time I get in the water that is all I think about and I would much rather have a healthy respect for them instead of being terrified. I feel like I would enjoy surfing so much more if I could get over my fear. Any tips would help!

YAY LONGBOARDING! - although idk how you are so brave to wear sandals on yours! 😆 I also have to say something that bothered me about OBX because you brought up the show - I did get sucked into it and couldn't stop watching, but because I live in the area of NC where they took a lot of the location names from, it was driving me CRAZY how the locations in the show were not referenced the same as they are on a map. haha REALLY hard for my brain to understand when those are places I spend my weekends hanging out at! All of the boat shots in Outerbanks was filmed 2 streets from my house!! It’s crazy because I didn’t realize it was even filmed by me until I was watching the show and kept saying that looks familiar 😂 I finally looked it up and then all those familiar shots made sense
