You have to look back through the levels of your nodes. If you're search lives directly under the date node than you can use PARENT as the target for the search. If it sits under a heading like Horizons (two levels down from the date node) then you can use GRANDPARENT. You can only have two layers or indents of nodes from the day page to the search. Hopefully that makes sense! It's a bit easier to show rather than explain via text.
@mzilner I don’t sell my daily page as a template because I find the daily page is much more personal to each person. But I do have a module in Tana Fast Track that walks you through creating one for yourself

Thanks for the video! How do you make the dotted divider lines? I've been using asterisks, but yours look like dots.
I believe those are bullet emojis
I use a dot from the emoji toolbar on the mac. I just searched my emoji toolbar for 'bullet' or 'circle' and they came up.
