Hi Debra, welcome to the channel love😊 You are my second Vanderpool and I know for a fact I'm going to mix you up. Sorry in advance😘 Ps I only have two kids and I mix those up too😅😁🤗💜
thank you for mentioning that not everyone has a sewing machine or want to sew making crafts, so thanks for making tutorials where sewing isnt a must. x
Oh you are not only super talented but a right scream with it! Love your beautiful journal and am going to have a go at one, thank you very much for a brilliant tutorial, learnt a few new tips and tricks! ⭐️🥰🌷🏴

I just found you about 2 weeks ago… and Just wanted to say thank you for coming into my crafting space!❤️. I so enjoy all the conversation and your “waffling” as you craft with such ease! I have learned many new tips and have also been inspired to take things to the next step adding my own little ideas. Using my forgotten “bits and bobs” has been so much fun! Thank you also for your good humor… you make watching you so enjoyable! God Bless you and may you continue to craft for a good long while!! 🙏💕🙏
Hi Julie, I love your videos. I particularly loved the idea of using an old book as a cradle for the journal when making the holes. Thanks for so many lovely ideas and a few giggles 💗
I have to tell you I watched this video even though I've never made a junk journal. I might try this one. But even more important is the fact that I think I have enjoyed this video more than just about any I've seen and I've seen a lot. Priceless commentary, kept me chuckling (especially about the found relatives). I am going to watch a bunch more of your videos. Well done! (Your search for the unthreaded needle reminded me of myself...haha.) :)
Thank you so much Melody😊 Oh i lose allsorts without even getting up or moving. I'll often just shout to the kids 'fresh eyes' and they know they need to come look for something i've lost😁 Really happy i could inspire you to give this a whirl love🤗💜
Just recently discovered Junk Journaling and your channel.. I watch and rewatch them all the time... You're one of my Favorite people who do have channels for this craft...First time I heard you say "Bob's your uncle" I cracked up laughing!!.. You're Funny and Fun, keep the video's coming as you can : )
Hi Sandy, welcome to the channel love. Junk journaling is fabulous, i'm a total addict and it sounds like you're heading that way too. you'll here me coming out with all my mums old sayings as it's official, i'm turning into my mother😅🤗💜
Great Tutorial Julie. I love the way you measure your signatures on the score board, so quick and easy. I would never have thought of doing it that way. It is a wonderful little journal and I certainly will be trying it soon. Thank you so much.

Another new one for me! Where do they hide?! I always love a good use for a 12x12” pice of paper! And Timmy’s featured in this one! The other day I noticed that Fiona put a regular-sized eyelet in the middle of the wide one & then set it! Have you ever seen that before? At first I thought it was a mistake, but it wasn’t! She didn’t mention it, nor did anyone in their comments, so I don’t know if I really saw what I thought I saw!! It’s a very cool idea, I think! Thank you for always showing the little details that can make a big difference OR wreck a perfectly good job by not paying attention to the details! Amazing, you have a very analytical mind & I really appreciate that you share those observations with us! Have a great day! Erica❤
Hi Erica, that sounds like something i need to try. Maybe she did it on purpose, mabbe she's just blind as a bat😅 Was it a live, if it was i'm surprised Mr F didn't notice it. Julie I did it! Thanks to you I made a journal. I have a cover made from a 6x6 paper pad from watching Cory's (sorry can't think of her last name) video months ago. I never did anything with it but I found your videos and have just been watching and making cluster and snippets. I haven't tea stained paper yet but I really wanted to get this done. I've watched this video so many times wanting to get it just right but I heard you in my head say, woman just get on with it. 🤣 So I did and it's wonky and I'm ok with that. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Now I'm off to go decorate it.
Julie I just love your videos, you are perfect don't change! Your fabulous chatter, which so often makes me giggle, no nonsense instructions and introductions to tools of the trade. Gorgeous projects. Just want to say you're great! By the way "work it" makes me think of Pretty woman! 😂
What a great idea to use the scoreboard to tear your papers! I'm always tearing my a little wonky. Genius idea! Thank you, Julie for another great video!
This is fantastic, I love it! Your instructions are so clear and I appreciate you keeping in mind that beginners could always be watching!! Thanks so much 😍😍
So happy you redo your journals for us newbies….I’m finished then baby album I’ve been working on …so when I can find my work area (have cleaned up) lol…I want to try this …thanks for sharing Julie ..take care ❤️🇨🇦
Julie I am new to journal making, and I just love watching and listening to you. I have learned so much from you in a months time! Thank you for sharing your craft with us! You are so easy to follow and you have a lovely voice. I’m watching from Florida. Xo
You give great instructions!!! I LOVE THIS! Perfect for so many things. I'd like to make a greeting card like this. And put some birthday tags in the pockets. Maybe Bible Verse or nice poem. Also would make a perfect notebook to use as insert in your journal. Or put it in a pocket, or pages in a larger journal. Looks so professional. Thx for another GREAT video!! I like how you showed us HOW you figured this out!! I get too confused to do lapbooks. And even flips can take me some time. I'm still working on my 1st ever junk journal. I'm getting faster. It USED to take me 3+ WEEKS to make a crappy little collage. Trying to figure out what order to glue so nothing gets covered up!! It helped when I learned first layers get covered up!!! WHAT???!!! OK,...now it takes me an hour. I guess I will get better when I get more practice. But embellishing is difficult for me. TIME consuming. *** Was it like that for you when you started??? *** It seems so easy when I watch others. I know exactly what I think you should do!! Practice, practice, practice!! Thx for video. Hi Barbara, really glad you enjoyed it love🤗 they all sound like fabulous ways to use it😊 Glad you enjoyed the bits where i explained how i came up with it. Quite a few people have asked this in the past, so i thought i'd show it. Particularly as i hadn't intended to make a journal, it just happened. But that's how i do it, i mess and play til i get something that i personally like and haven't seen before. Collage is something i'm still getting to grips with and seem to do better while not thinking so much about it, but i do struggle with larger collages. Yes the whole coveing things up doesn't sit comfortably with me, but hopefully i'll get there. I'm certainly no expert, but practice really does help build your confidence. Also i have to keep reminding myself, it's only paper. As for the embellishing i'm hit and miss, sometimes i faff for ages. Something Tim Holz said once helped me. It was something about not spending forever looking for the perfect piece to put on a collage, he said pick something and put it where you like it and then it becomes the perfect piece, because you said so. Hope that waffle helped Barbara😊🤗💜
Julie the journal is adorable. 🥰 Thank you for sharing it. Love your videos and your sense of humor. You make me smile 😊 and give me a project to try. 🌻❤️🌻 Alynda
I love this journal. Can't wait to try one! I enjoy your video's so much. You have such fantastic ideas and a wonderful sense of humor. You are a joy to watch. Thanks so much for sharing.
This little journal is perfect!! 😍 I can’t wait to try it! Ooh I noticed during the video you marked and labeled sections of the video, so cool! I love watching every second and these are so helpful to rewatching any of the steps in the process. Thank you Julie! 💞💖💞 p.s. those tiny Timmy clips are adorable! 😁
Thanks Sylvia🤗💜 Yes it was about time i learned how to mark the chapters, so really glad it's something that you find useful💜 those clips are the cutest thing ever😁🤗💜
I really Iike the size of this journal and how quickly it came together. This would make a great gift. I also appreciate how clearly you describe your process. You are a VERY good instructor. Time to go pull out my 12x12s!!
This is fabulous, Julie. Always looking for something new and different and you come up trumps. Love the banter and I sure wouldn't want to anger any baboons!!! Thanks for sharing😘
Julie, I love how you teach. I appreciate the detailed instructions. Thanks for all the tips and tricks. I use to book bind in the 90's so this refresher is very helpful.
Well Julie, you've done it again! Another genius idea. I just love how clever and quick that cover is to make. You're a 🤩 and no we don't want 'wonky stabbage' 😆
I’ve spent the afternoon making your Timmy Scrappy booklets and notebook and having loads of fun, many thanks. This journal looks wonderful, another to add to my list.
Thanks Terre, like they say it's easy when you know how, so hopefully you'll find it easy too now you've seen how. I'm lucky i can now devote more time to craftig as it's now my only source of income, scary, but fabulous. your ballet kit sounds yummy😊🤗💜
Hi Julie. You're such a talented lady. Thanks heaps for sharing. Love This Little journal. It's a must in my to do pile. Also I like your kind of crazy. Blessings n Hugs
Now I know I say this every video lol but this one is the best! Lol 😂 this is a brilliant masterpiece. It’s got a little bit of everything. I will be making these for the whole family. I can’t wait for your Etsy shop to reopen. I will be buying more ASAP. I promise I won’t go angry like a ape lmao 🤣 or go to stabby stabby on making me holes. I love your sense of humor. Thanks for going into such detail for us new beginners. Much obliged ♥️xxx
I made one of these, had some issues with bulkage. Came back and watched the rest of your video (I'm a bit naughty; get impatient and take off to try something out and miss some REALLY IMPORTANT INFORMATION like paper manipulation) 12:00. All sorted now. Thank you for showing all the steps.
Absolutely love these 1 sheet craft makes... However I'm soooo slow haha... managed to finish gluing and folding the cover by the end of the video... going back to rewind and work on the rest haha :)
Hi Julie, Thankyou so much for this tutorial 💗 as usual an outstanding video, loved the way you went step by step, and the usual banter which always makes your video's stand out, thankyou again for sharing your talents with us all xx
I was excited to see that you still have Tim Holtz paper from his paper packs. Are you still able to purchase them in the UK? The last I looked, I was not able to buy any paper packs here in the states, but luckily, I stocked up quite a few years ago, not knowing that he would discontinue with them. I am so glad that I did. Thank you for sharing all your tutorials of so many different beautiful things, I really love your style and of course your personality is wonderful and makes me smile.
i really love this Julie - this is going to be fun to make - i may create a few to send out as happy mail - wonderful tutorial - thank you and enjoy your day!! 🤗
Yeah👏....finally👏...using a person of color for central position in J.J. I have been watching how ALL photos are white people. I am going to make a small journal which shows diversity in life. Similar to 'Bridgerton' a show I love... Happy day to you. 😍👍🌈
The cover like the journal, just happened and as i was fishing though my paper dolls, he just looked good sitting there😊 A psychologist would probably have a field day with why i chose him at this particular time. I haven't left the house in a week and i've been binge watching The Posh Paper Lady who happens to be a beautiful black woman🤔 Anyway, glad you like it love and good luck with your Bridgerton inspired journal of diversity😊🤗💜
Ok made my journal today. Ready for the next video to decorate, the only thing I haven’t done is the fastening. I’m waiting for Amazon to deliver my eyelets later this week. Love your tutorials, thank you for sharing.❤️ Oh and finished the last 2 of the 6 Timmy folder/notebooks I started yesterday.
Fabulous Tezz, i'm going with that as your name or nickname😁 Part 2 gous up 9pm UK time, so not long to wait. Sounds like you've been a busy bee. Thanks for watching love😊🤗💜
@@CameliaCraftsDesigns Yep my nickname, with the name Tracy I got fed up of the old Sharon and Tracy jokes as a kid, lol. Finished the decoration yesterday, didn’t have Timmy’s grumpy people so printed some from The Graphics Fairy. Although they’re grumpy too. Hope your having a good day.
Hi Samantha, thank you so much love😊 I have done some hard cover journals and I made mini albums before I discovered junk journals. Maybe I should get my thinking cap on as I still have a sizable stast of 12 X 12 chipboard😘☺️🤗💜

You know what song i have stuck in my head for the rest of the day now and i'm not a big Britney Spears fan 😑🤣😅😊🤗💜
I’ve spent the afternoon making your Timmy Scrappy booklets and notebook and having loads of fun, many thanks. This journal looks wonderful, another to add to my list.

Спасибо! Полезное видео!
Добро пожаловать 😊🤗💜
Now I know I say this every video lol but this one is the best! Lol 😂 this is a brilliant masterpiece. It’s got a little bit of everything. I will be making these for the whole family. I can’t wait for your Etsy shop to reopen. I will be buying more ASAP. I promise I won’t go angry like a ape lmao 🤣 or go to stabby stabby on making me holes. I love your sense of humor. Thanks for going into such detail for us new beginners. Much obliged ♥️xxx
Your comments put a smile on my face Josie. In my head i now have a picture of a giant ape/baboon, running amuck with a stabby stabby😅😊🤗💜
@@CameliaCraftsDesigns hahaha 🤣 good that’s how I feel as well when you say that in your videos. I crack up ♥️ keep them coming and so will I
Great video thank you x
Thank you so much Loueen😊🤗💜
BRILLIANT! thank you for sharing your ideas, really inspirational ....
Thank you so much love😊🤗💜
I made one of these, had some issues with bulkage. Came back and watched the rest of your video (I'm a bit naughty; get impatient and take off to try something out and miss some REALLY IMPORTANT INFORMATION like paper manipulation) 12:00. All sorted now. Thank you for showing all the steps.
Happy you got it to behave in the end love.
I find most things can be bmanipulated or beaten into submission 😘😅🤗💜
I love this this little journal, perfect for a gift ❤
Thank you so much Kat, really glad you like it 😊🤗💜
Absolutely love these 1 sheet craft makes... However I'm soooo slow haha... managed to finish gluing and folding the cover by the end of the video... going back to rewind and work on the rest haha :)
Muy original, gracias por compartir y regalar momentos de alegrías.
Thank you so much ☺️🤗💜
@@CameliaCraftsDesigns Gracias por atenderme.
Hi Julie, Thankyou so much for this tutorial 💗 as usual an outstanding video, loved the way you went step by step, and the usual banter which always makes your video's stand out, thankyou again for sharing your talents with us all xx
You are so welcome Rachel, really glad you enjoyed it love☺️🤗💜
Thanks Janet, sounds like a great idea as they do come together pretty quicky😊🤗💜

@@CameliaCraftsDesigns hey hey
Yeah👏....finally👏...using a person of color for central position in J.J.
I have been watching how ALL photos are white people. I am going to make a small journal which shows diversity in life. Similar to 'Bridgerton' a show I love... Happy day to you. 😍👍🌈
The cover like the journal, just happened and as i was fishing though my paper dolls, he just looked good sitting there😊
A psychologist would probably have a field day with why i chose him at this particular time. I haven't left the house in a week and i've been binge watching The Posh Paper Lady who happens to be a beautiful black woman🤔
Anyway, glad you like it love and good luck with your Bridgerton inspired journal of diversity😊🤗💜
This is really.cute
Thanks love 😊🤗💜
Your teaching methods are so fun and easy to follow, and this small journal is lovely! Do you ever create covers or ephemera from chipboard?
Hi Samantha, thank you so much love😊
I have done some hard cover journals and I made mini albums before I discovered junk journals.
Maybe I should get my thinking cap on as I still have a sizable stast of 12 X 12 chipboard😘☺️🤗💜
