Hello and thank you. I agree with you 100%...:). It took a considerable amount of time and energy to do an extensive research of errors and things that most often cause very early failures of even the highest quality inverter generators, but the result is worth it. Not only because of the positive responses of those who watched the video, which was not on TH-cam until its publication, but mainly because this knowledge will save thousands of people worldwide millions of Euros (Dollars...). And I'm not even talking about the fact that there will be less electronic waste. And it is not true that it will harm the companies that produce inverters. On the contrary. The most valuable thing that companies usually have in some cases is their brand. And the longer their machines serve, the better their name and brand will be built with customers. In a healthy market economy, companies create profit by expansion and innovation, and not by producing quickly perishable electronic waste.
Hi Allan. Thanks for watching. It is a sign of wisdom, humility and healthy self-confidence to be able to publicly admit that I did not know about something, learn from it and not repeat the mistakes. You are not the only one who did not know about these things. I dare say that 99% of users of inverter generators did not know about all of them at once, as I described them - including me, those who sell them, but also those who study the user manuals in detail. Not all things are mentioned in the more than 70-page user manual for the Honda EU 22i and similar generators. Some things resulted from the very long-term use of these machines in various ways and the experiences that users shared in reviews, comments, questions on forums and experiences in authorized and unauthorized services. I spent several weeks and long hours researching the internet and TH-cam channels in English, Slovak, Polish, Czech, Russian, Ukrainian and partly in German and I summarized the knowledge that preceded the filming of this video and others that I have on my YT channel. I bought my inverters broken, so it was cheaper for me to have the opportunity to diagnose them :). If you liked the video and would like to see more, where I added more than 10 tips and diagnostic procedures to the 7 mentioned errors in their use, then watch the following video. It is in my native language, but there are good subtitles in more than 70 languages, including English. Good luck. You can find it at this link: th-cam.com/video/xEh1ThqyGv4/w-d-xo.html
Baahaha, you got a lemon, man I have beaten my eu22 bad over the years almost 16 years old, still going strong, even had it running on grid tied solar panel inverters. running flat out for days non stop constant, only to refill for fuel.
Honda European Media newsroom in April 2019: "New Honda generator EU22i. Honda has updated its most popular portable generator, the EU20i and is replacing it with the even more versatile EU22i with more power, improved fuel economy and even quieter operation." I guess you own Honda EU20i. You are right. Looks like a "lemon" :). I bought it broken for a very reasonable price for testing what is wrong with it. Honda and other inverter producers do not recommend to use this inverters to power solar systems as far as I know.
@AdviceFromGarage Correct must be a 20, they should never have changed to the 22 then, LOL. Solar grid tie inverter harmonising is not for the faint of heart, and only for the experienced, with load matching it is very possible to do, I have also load matched grid tie inverter setups with cheap Chinese pure sine wave inverters, works a charm. As the Honda inverters have dual connection capabilities it has the smarts to try synchronise the phase shift required. My point is generally they can take a beating and just keep going Honda for the win.

I love to hear (read in this case) the Irish language again after 14 years since I left the beautiful green island called Ireland. I assume I'm dealing with an AI bot. I completely agree with your comment. One day (also with the help of artificial intelligence) I will learn to create much more attractive thumbnails and previews. For now, I have to deal (until I learn) with my imperfect human qualities. I wonder if the artificial intelligence managed to recognize that I'm wearing an Irish football club (Westmeath) shirt..:) Bíodh lá deas agat ón tSlóvaic.
Awesome video mate! Very valuable info

Thank you sir.
You are very welcome. Good luck. S.
Didn’t know now I do very helpful and will be strict on its use. Thank you so much!

Hi. I'm glad my video was helpful. That's exactly why I made it. Good luck.
Moc díky za osvětu! Víc takových videí.

Rozumná argumentace. Díky.
