It is wrong to for us if we read the Bible and only want to pick out verses of the Bible and say these are written to us and the verses that don't tickle our ears, written only to the people the letters were originally written too. That happens more and more and that why we are seeing this whole LBTQ movement coming into the churches. We always have to read the whole Bible so as it is talking directly to us. Paul writes to Timothy in 2Ti 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. That includes 1 Corinthians 11. No matter the culture we live in today. There is only one Biblical culture and it's the true believers of Jesus Christ. In Matthew:20-23 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
I’m so glad that you understand the Bible hundred percent I always love to see people like you that understand the Bible 100% then I am expecting also that you do what Mark chapter 16:15-18 says. Because Jesus says, why do you call me, Lord and do not do the works that I tell you to do!

If it's not all for us that's in the Bible, then how do we know what's for us?
