He's such a smooth skater it's hard to tell but maybe still a bit less snappy than usual in his first stride. Anyway, good to see more of his defense side and a couple good steals too.
Yes, great skater, though I suspect the ankle injury may have been giving him issues as he didn't look as quick but the team is off till Jan 3rd after tonight's game. Their next game on Jan 3rd will be at Wrigley Field in Chicago, Ill.
For now I would say center that could end up on the wing, we'll have to see how he develops physically, and his defense will need more work. He's in a good spot now at Michigan, can get top 6 TOI, 1st PP, top program with what appears to be a good coach. Next year he should be a lock for Team Canada, or so I would think.
He just returned from injury and he's their best offensive player so he's often a target. If you watch this vid, he's targeted a number of times and ended up getting injured late in the game (check for bookmark), th-cam.com/video/6gY1gaOWVqY/w-d-xo.html
@@harryhood1919 management should definitely do something. We cant afford to lose a Jack Eichal level of player. Due to other kids being jealous of his talent

Why is he being targeted by the other team?? And refs are not doing anything

@@xlwolfff we have to look at this as prep work for the big league where everyone's a target and refs aren't any less lenient at times.
