I read somewhere earlier today that Demidov wasn't going to play in Thursday's opening game of the 2024 Channel One Cup and now I see him wearing the C and he's the tournament's MVP. I'll admit I'm confused.
Pretty much everything that bothers me about modern hockey I see in this Russian league. Puck watchers players not shooting when they should over handling the puck long stretch passes that have about a 5% chance of succeeding and scoring IQ is very low just taking shots into the goaleis pads. Now on Demidov in this game he looks talented I am not so sure he is making the best decisions all the time and yeah he waits too long then can't get his shot up in great scoring areas or seems to be looking pass th entire time when he should be shooting. Will his style work in the NHL well imo he will be fine because defensive hockey is lacking in the NHL as well so he should get his chances but traying to beat guys one on one is a low risk decision NHL D are too good "most of the time".
His puck handling is so good to see woww
Suzuki, Caufield, Demidov, I can hardly wait.
Slafkovsky Hage Martone , too
Hutson passing to Demidov who feeds Laine or Caufield is going to hit like crack to Hab fans next year.
Rotenburg knows he's a great player, and he's benching him.
Because demidov keeps rejecting contract extensions so rotenburg is salty and benching him for it
@@cleancutdiscreet your 100% right, khl classic move

he didn't dress in yesterday's game (KHL Stars), today he was the Captain for the U-25 team.
RottenBurger
He's rotten indeed.
Jaime la musique Russe. I like the Russian's music.

God he’s soooo silky
He's a treat to watch, when they actually let him play more then 10 minutes a game.
this is computer game ?
Do u know if konyushkov played yesterday?
He did.
He would be a much better goal scorer if he capitalised more often on his scoring chances. That is pretty much all he is missing.
So what you're saying is if he scored more goals he would be a better goal scorer???
@@jericho3161 Yes, instead of being preferred as a play-maker.
