the blade can still deflect a bit and to go all the way down the whole line one cut at a time it’s unlikely that it’s perfectly straight. The circular blade is a perfectly straight line and it will be used with a router bushing so a perfectly straight line is necessary 👍
Depends on need If your making hundreds of wood working projects for living then the tools pay for them selves if you are making a couple custom cabinets a jigsaw and a hand file will do you just fine
95 percent of the comments are such unqualified statements. This is a precise milling template that you can even make quickly on the building site. Can also be done with a China plunge saw and vibration saw for 150$ or a hand saw. Most commentators have no skills, but as a Festool and Apple hater you don't need them either. The sheer envy...
The way I do these dusty is I turn it over on its back and use just the saw to cut all the way through making sure that I don't go beyond my intended opening. Keep in mind that when I do this it's for plugs on baseboards so they don't have to be perfect.
Everything is good, but you should have predrilled Nd used countersunk screws. Square head pocket screws won’t work. The base of the router will be catching on those. (But I’m sure you’ve already figured that out if you’ve tried it)
Huh? This is just not you bro... You don't even look happy in the video about this one either. This is the least Dusty LumberCo way to make this, or anything.
Dude what is this nonsense? Have you heard of jigsaw? I understand you have to promote festool i have festool my self but cutting with track saw just to finish with oscillating tool just doesn’t look good
From all that i'd take dust extractor , everything else can go in the bin or whatever , especialy corded plunge saw that can't cut 45mm in one go before stalls and piece of sh*t stalling multi tool ( only things i bought from festool ) . Luckily I got my money back . ovepriced tools , for DIY only
Hi my friend It is also because it doesn't matter because the bearing/bushing will never go in the corner and u get such a great surface for the bearing to follow.

@@dustylumberco even with that jig if you push too hard the blade will bend. I wouldn’t need the jig personally, would be a waste of money when I can do the same cut 😉
He could have just used the jigsaw, but then he wouldn't have been able to demonstrate three thousand dollars worth Of tools.

He has all those tools but no brains
The state of the lines would be horrendous.
Plunge attachment for multi tool is a great gob
It absolutely does !
Honestly I want one!
My new DT50 Makita multi tool is an absolute monster
I use it for everything now!
I have a feeling there is at least $100k worth of tools in that workshop... probably more.
Не знаю, как другие, но я только попадаю на видео Дасти, так сразу палец на лайк становится. 😂😂😂 👍👍👍
Never thought an oscillating tool can be set like that. Very cool!
I need a straight cut multi tool jig like that for my DeWalt!
I never really know what he’s doing but it’s always fun to watch.
Lmao!
Really precise carpentry, I hope to have a setup like this one day. I wouldn’t want to leave the workshop!
Dude!!!! That system for the vibrating saw is the Sh*t!!! I want one
👏👍
I believe it’s got a magnet on the base that holds the oscillating blade.
King of festool
This guy has the best tools I’ve ever seen
Are the any Festool Tools that u don't own? 😁
Nice Content, keep going!
Yes a whole bunch! Thank you very much
My God, he has a tool for everything . I love to visit his shop

Festool is the best equipment and will up anyone's game
I want that gadget you have that cuts straight lines. Such an excellent tool.
It's pretty awesome
Bit of superglue and a couple of rip cuts is easier and probably more precise!
People with festools just be doing the most 😂
Love the multitool jig
Question. Why do that tiny cut out in the board. I'm missing something.
Pán majster👍
Alot of work for something you could have just used the multitool from the start
El hombre mas feliz del mundo 🤔
Festool it's amazing!
Oh yeah!
every time I watch one of this guy's video he pulls out a brand new tool.
Why use the track saw!? Just use plunge the multitool.
VERY GOOD AND EXCELLENT work 👏
This guy is sick with tools

Why not just use a morticer ?
Merhaba kolay gelsin bu kullandığınız makine ve bıçak ne isimle geçiyor bilgi verebilirmisin Türkiye’den selamlar
But you’ve got the mortise machine that’s holds it all in place anywsy.
Why not use the fecking multi tool for the entire cut out ??
Or is this more of a look what they gave me this week video??
Hi, could I know what accessory is at the head of the guide and makes it raise and lower? Thank you
Woow good idea
How did you started by getting sponsored by festool
Albert und Gottlieb should like all of your video's 😉👍
I have never seen that attachment of the guide rail. Is it a festool one or did you make it?
Thanks
Чем больше инструментов задействовать тем лучше😂😂😂
I like your work iam fun from Algérie !👍
Nice, good repeatability.
Absolutely 🙌
Wow! ❤
DUDE THE AMOUNT OF MONEY IN THE BACK GROUND IS JUST CRAZY. Good for you
But you have a chain mortiser no?
Was the plunge saw really necessary
Yes. The guide for the router to run against will be perfectly straight and square. Just what you want for a mortise.
Rollovaughan gave a great answer already 👍
Voalekum assalom
Solamente veo la cantidad de httas que hay para cada actividad, con ellas, haces maravillas.
One small drill bit for penatration. One simple scroll saw for "you don't need that equipment to work wood!"
Why not just make a proper one
WTF hust happened, really ?!!
А сразу нельзя было реноватором выпилить?

Just a thought but ya might want to sink those washer head screws below the surface.
Es mas facil con taladro y caladora
This cutter tool anyone help me Please how is it called i need to get one
Festool os 400 vecturo (also called a multi tool)
When are the whisper quiet tools being released?
🤣
Still love ya vids m8 from fat Yorkshire lad over pond...
Thank you !
Excellent work wood working hard working man you are good boy
Thanks 👍
there's a way easier way to do this. all you need is a table saw and 3 minutes

A spade bit and a jigsaw does the same thing.
I wish I had all those tools
🙌
I have it all from festool, but my first pick on will allways be bosch

Template master!!!😊❤
🙌
Fun to watch but he will be deaf soon
👌👌😎
👍👏
Pointless for a tool
Okay why use the circular saw and make it look like crap then switch over to the plunger multi tool thing
I think it was to establish a straight line so the vibrating plunge cuts stayed on line.
I thought the same thing…
Hi my friend
It is also because it doesn't matter because the bearing/bushing will never go in the corner and u get such a great surface for the bearing to follow.
Doesn’t trust his skills to use a multi tool freehand 🤣🤣🤣

Im the opposite of you, I work with steel and buy every single tool to make my job easier. I like to create stuff with my hands.
Right on
No skills needed, just a bag of cash. A mallet and chisels is what I trained with and still use.
Skill is replaced by tools
