Welcome to the second part of the Rust August Update, where we're thrilled to introduce the brand-new feature: Chat Emoji! This exciting addition allows you to express yourself in fresh and creative ways, adding a dash of fun to your in-game interactions.
To access this fantastic feature, look for the emoji button conveniently placed on the right side of the chat interface. Once you click it, you'll be greeted with a list of emojis at your disposal. Want to find a specific one? No problem! Utilize the search function to quickly locate the perfect emoji to convey your feelings.
What's more, you can even customize your emojis by changing the selected skin tone. Personalize your in-game expressions to reflect your individual style and preferences.
Using emojis is simple. If you prefer typing over clicking, all you need to do is type a colon (:) into the regular chat box. As you start typing, you'll notice an autocomplete feature that appears, making it easy to navigate and select the emoji of your choice using the arrow keys and hitting Enter.
In this update, we've also got a special treat for you: the Emoji AK Assault Rifle Skin! Yes, even your trusty firearms can now get an emoji makeover, adding a touch of humor and personality to your battles.
