    When I was taught multiplication, first thing we learned was that the × can be replaced with "groups of". So 1×1 written out goes "1 group of 1"... which is 1. Like 4×5 is "4 groups of 5" which is 20. So I just disproved his entire theory with grade 4 math.

      I don't think he will unfortunately. My uncle had a really bad depression and a mental breakdown when his divorce finalized... Then he went on the Athos mountain to get help from God rather a psychologist. Now he's better in the sense that as far as we know he's relatively happy and not trying to unlove himself anymore but now he talks just like Terrence and Kanye.. no sense at all, if you try bringing him to truth and some facts he confidently just says ✨NO✨. I feel sorry for them but still not trying to stay close to people like this because I feel my neurons dying by the minute when they talk.

      I was convinced he was in the industry and has been around more spiritual warfare then us people who are not in Hollywood. Do I agree with everything he’s saying no but I do think there’s a reason a lot of celebs speak about certain stuff or act a certain way. And it’s not always what it seems at first glance… but as the public we are so quick to write it off as manic or calling them crazy. Also sometimes it’s not what the actor/actress says or even how they say it that is the main focus. Gotta try and read between the lines and the getting shot part isn’t all that crazy to me bc a lot of celebs do fear for their life when they say certain things or they say something then poof they’re gone either “fell off” or die….. honestly

      As someone who has seen a psychotic break firsthand, this is exactly what they talk like. They can often have grandiose delusions, and they also often have no understanding of their own separation from reality. They will deny help as they have no ability to see outside of their delusions. In my experience, they can be very good at pretending they are functioning enough to hold onto and nurture their delusions. I mean… i can understand how someone could feel that way if they end up doing something they never particularly wanted to be known for, as I’m in a sorta similar situation (I just haven’t made a living off it lol) and as it’s all I’m known for among those around me and all I find I have particular talent and skill doing… I get bitter about it. Did it save my life from my situation and my mental disorders? Absolutely. I wouldn’t have made it into my twenties if I hadn’t been living in my writings/books.
      And while I still do stuff to work on making an author career, I also tend to feel sourly of it, because I never wanted it to be “what I do” but it seems it could be the only thing I can do (if even that).
      I don’t know this guy’s history, but maybe he got into acting cuz why not and it kept going and then the industry took a toll on him, and now he’s a bit mentally lost.
      Even if no person made him do it, situations can make people do things. And most of us don’t have the knowledge to fully understand the pressures others are going through.

    • @krissydiggs

    • @nahilhamam
      @nahilhamam 2 ปีที่แล้ว +34

      @@krissydiggs yes. Absolutely a great point. They get used to being surrounded by “yes-men” and eventually begin existing in an echo chamber that perpetuates the loss of touch with reality. It’s difficult to stay grounded and re-align/ground yourself when you live in a bubble.

      @Queen Nové I disagree wholeheartedly. I don’t think those roles would make “anyone lose it.” Even method actors who let their roles fully encompass them can still stay grounded even after decades of character acting. He had underlying conditions which made method acting more dangerous but it wasn’t the roles, it would’ve happened regardless. Plus did you even watch the clips? @@Ednaonline yes, I made a full recovery. Of course this varies from person to person. I was initially hospitalized in an acute ward and I got worse, but as I'm autistic, I was transferred to a neuropsychiatric ward, taken off all meds except mild sedatives to help me sleep, and I got home after two weeks. The care post hospitalization matters most in aiding proper healing. In my case it was neuropsychiatric coaching in the form of home assistance. I have been to therapy before, so I had learned tools to help myself with, too.

He talked about how the world was made of minerals, then it was water, plants and then animals, and he had a whole cosmology based on how he view minerals, mixing his experiences with quantum physics he had learned from some books he had bought in a yard sale. He had no formal education and factualy his ideas were nonsense, but it was a very complex theory on how his world works and it was absolutely fascinating. @@juanausensi499 if you take certain quantum theories, an energy within an organism being considered its "soul" wouldn't be TOO far off. It's like reincarnation without shared consciousness. It'd be impossible to retain the consciousness when your energy is being consumed by several different things anyways, and it serves a better purpose just fueling the organisms that consume you. Not that there's any choice in the nature of the universe, but still. Neither case would be wrong to think it as a sort of reincarnation or just a natural process past one's final breath. A lot of modern philosophies do draw from quantum theories, so really it's just about perception.

When you’re in it, it feels pretty good in the beginning because you believe you’ve found the secrets of the universe and consequently try to enlighten everyone else only to eventually find holes in your belief system that you can’t fill and you get stuck in this loophole. I’ve fortunately recovered from it and I hope he does to.

      Yes its very sad and scary. My sister had a psychotic break when she was like 18. Her brain was going so fast she was up for days thinking she was someone else with the same name who was an author. This was an actual person that existed but somehow she had convinced herself it was her. She thought there were people making a documentary about her and that traffic lights were camera lights. People would visit her in her mind that weren't actually there. Ive never had anything like it but i imagine it being like being stuck in a really bad loop on acid but for like months. Unfortunately most people have no knowledge of this and cant tell when someone is in this state of mind. Pretty much living in an intertwined alternate reality. She ended up in the hospital for a couple months which is another horrible place to be they seem to just drug everyone until they can barley walk or talk and loose all their personality and turn into a drooling drone. Luckily shes been fine since, but unfortunately a lot of people end up back that way again and again. Hopefully this actor gets some help before they let him go out and embarrass himself some more. Most people are just laughing thinking this is funny but really its not and quite serious.

      @@mudmudmudmudmud7605 The problem with conspiracy theories is that numerous theories turn out to be conspiracy fact. Take MK Ultra and the Tuskegee Experiments (and many, many more) as prime examples.
      Too many people these days automatically discount anything that's labeled a "conspiracy theory" due to the phrase all but being transformed into a dirty label by those that dislike prying eyes and critical minds. And, by this becoming commonplace, is even more harmful in general than having some people believing in the ones that are plainly absurd.
      Society should be required to have a healthy skepticism. Reason being, if they don't, it allows those who are actually conspiring to get away with doing so. All the while with the blessings of a willfully ignorant public.

    5:03 actually, i'm sorry, but at face value "gravity is an effect, not a force" is not necessarily a crazy thing to say, and does not in fact "disprove gravity" or conflict with the present consensus among physicists. it's just a really poor way to explain it. gravity is the only one of the fundamental forces of the universe to not have a known messenger particle associated with it (though it has a named hypothetical quantum, the graviton), and there's some schools of thought suggesting that it's merely a biproduct of the distortionary effect that mass has on the fabric of spacetime, not a "real" thing that you could collect or generate like you can with photons. so in the basic sense of "an influence that can change the motion of an object" yes, gravity is a force, but in the sense of "quantum fields of the universe with a corresponding messenger particle", jury's still out. it sounds like Terry just skimmed through some pop science articles and didn't understand at all but thought it was all very deep and interesting
