    I usually pierce the top end with a fork to hold it in place while julienning. Saves my fingers from getting cut, lol. Thanks for the demo!

    I AM SOLD! Great demo. Thank you! I just peeled 3 lbs of hard and old sweet potatoes, I am looking forward to getting this in the mail! p.s. it looks safe, too. I am sick of cutting myself. I have the best knives, but I never get out of the task without injury. :) I am looking forward to the julienne.

      that was so very nice of you, Linda. Thanks so much for the lovely compliment and stopping by. BTW: I love this peeler still and use it every time I have things to peel.

    How much of the vegetable or fruit do you actually get to slice or julienne? Once it gets down in size what happens to the rest? It would seem difficult to do once it gets smaller without slicing up your hand.

    • @EtherealEncountersUnveiled
      @EtherealEncountersUnveiled  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually, I'm able to use most of the veggie or fruit I'm slicing. Yes, you have to be careful when you get close to the end but I do love this peeler it's the best I've ever used! It does have a blade guard built into it too!

    This looks great; however, I am not a cook and need help. I still don't know what side of this tool to use for what? What's the difference between to the 2 sides? I can't see in the video which side you're using. I still don't know how to use it. I guess I'll have to try it out to figure it out.

    • @EtherealEncountersUnveiled

      Hi Monte, you don't need to be a cook to use this. One side peels and the other side juliennes. It's simple really. I hope you get to try it. it's really great.

    So how do you sharpen a tool like this??

    How do you use the little gagets on the side?????

    • @EtherealEncountersUnveiled
      @EtherealEncountersUnveiled  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you mean the little piece at the end that is to core any black spots from things like potatoes. You use it to dig them out.

    How well does it work on cuccumber tho? As they can break apart pretty easy when you get near the centre

    • @EtherealEncountersUnveiled
      @EtherealEncountersUnveiled  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It worked great for me. I try not to choose soft cucumbers and make sure they have some firmness.

    I can't think of any reason to ever want to julienne an apple😄

    • @EtherealEncountersUnveiled
      @EtherealEncountersUnveiled  ปีที่แล้ว

      I can! I love putting them in my salad :)

    • @arthurevans2029
      @arthurevans2029 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@EtherealEncountersUnveiled cool, I certainly didn't claim no one had a reason or desire, but the idea doesn't fit anywhere in my personal preference.
      However, I think some women in my mom's family use apples in tuna salad and stuff, maybe. I'll eat it that way but I probably won't make it that way.
      Watch, now I'll end up trying it😄

    • @EtherealEncountersUnveiled
      @EtherealEncountersUnveiled  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@arthurevans2029 lol well, I do that almost every time I eat salad. I love the little pieces and prefer them to huge chucks. I am a fruity gal and like fruit in most everything. :) I hope you do get to try it, Arthur. I have a feeling you just might like them!
