      Void Incubus sounds excellent but I don't think they could beat out the Danleys - haven't heard the Danleys IRL but they seem phenomenal

      @@robshekelberg5315 Nope, FLH with boundary coupling or at least a 1/4 quarter wave resonator. The large front baffle acts as a 180° horn mouth and provides some directivity, read Danleys explanation on diyaudio or the patent. A bandpass and bassreflex both have at least one ported volume and do not gain additional spl per x cone displacement from volume increase at a given tuning frequency. This sub however is much larger than a ported double 18 for its tuning frequency, but also much louder and actually has directivity.
