- R142A (6) Local Train Ride from 149th Street-Grand Concourse to Brooklyn Bridge via the City Hall Loop
Taken September 7th
Planned Work: Because of Track Maintenance, there were no (6) Train Service between 125th Street and Hunts Point Avenue. Free Shuttle Buses provided alternate service between 125th Street and Hunts Point Avenue. (6) Trains ran in two sections:
1. Between Pelham Bay Park and Hunts Point Avenue
2. Between Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall and 125th Street, and via the (4) Line to 149th Street-Grand Concourse - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
Why do they use LOC instead of LCL? LCL always looked better to me

The r62as on the 6 are great too. I mean it's not like the 6 is the worst subway line right. It still comes on time like the 1 and gets the job done.
@@rayewaddell9668 I remember the REDBIRDS R29, R36WF, and R33WF trains being on the (6) line during the 1990's. I miss these trains a lot. The Redbirds retired in 2003.
@@superistic911 The R142A were originally on the (6) when they entered regular service in the year 1999 or 2000. The R142A trains were transferred to the (4) line last year in 2018 because of changes on the (7) line. The new R188 trains have CBTC and they replaced the R62A trains on the (7) line. The R62A trains were transferred from the (7) line to the (6) line in 2018.

R142A suck
The r142/as don't suck they are very reliable trains as well and they run smoothly just like the old Redbirds however we will be getting r262s definitely r142/as back on the Pelham line for Cbtcs
Back on the Pelham line for Cbtcs Enjoy the r62as on the 6 line while you can

@@mariodude7424 Donna or later when the brand new R262/as comes for CBTCs to replace all the R62AS R62S on the 1 3 6 S the R142as will be back on the Pelham 6 line right along with the R262as. For now we have to deal with R62AS back on the Pelham line. The R62AS on the Pelham line does not have to be like the 1 trains They could of kept two sets of the R142as on the Pelham 6 line which is the 4 does not have no CBTCs some of the R62AS could go back to the 3 line this way the 3 trains could have mix equipments R62s R62AS. The R62AS could run 10 cars on the 3 trains. I used to ride the R62AS on the Broadway 3 line before the R62AS we're sent to Flushing line to Replace all the Redbirds R33WF R36wf .
