Impressed by Ta-Da's enduring user value, it speaks volumes about your early vision and 37 signals' focus. Sometimes product churn from the bigger players contains valuable insights, Google's Stadia showcased important cues about future cloud and cross-platform integration trends, despite media dismissing it as another failed or abandoned product. Room for new players to take some wins. Thanks for another great Podcast!

David keeps on talking and talking😂😂. Thank you again guys. Your editing skills are next level Kimberly! 🎉
One topic, that is related to today’s theme but different frequency, from a Startup founder’s perspective i would love to get your take. Is it wise to start a saas startup with similar basic features but different target audience for example and compete with Giants such as Google or 37Signals or Meta…
Common logic would suggest that with the resources these Giants could wipe your business out in a matter of days.
And i’m confident, examples prove otherwise. But why is that?
    - different Vision?
    - not viable enough, as explained in this pc?
    - …
    Thanks ❤

A lot of the reasons why platforms/products get axed or progressively get worse with higher costs is due to the professional managerial class taking over the company. Eventually the math doesnt work because the board and C-suite view the platform as existing to create value for themselves and customer value has to fit into their model. Many do not care about the product or what the users think.

Customers resist change even though the new product is objectively better. Just look at health care software!
