I watch so many reseller videos! Always makes me giggle when I hear a true reseller say they aren't gonna source this or that anymore. I maybe tried doing that once or twice myself, but then the "REAL RESELLER" comes out in me & I CAN NOT RESIST! If I see something that I think is interesting & can bring me some ca$h, I will for sure snatch it up! That's why I am a Reseller 👍

Kinda Ironic that you picked up that Bin with the Pearls. I was recently at my Goodwill BINS and I found a Pearl Necklace that I got Appraised and Turned out the clasp is silver and the Pearls were real and Said retail is $1200

I'm loving your channel, Josh! An easy way to tell whether a pair of shoes is men's or women's is to compare the US and UK sizes. If it's men's, those numbers will be within one whole number of each other (like US size 10 and UK size 9). If it's a women's pair, those numbers will be more than one whole number apart (like US size 10 and UK size 8.5). I learned that tip from Rnzy!

When you don’t know show size, it can help to check the EU sizing because they use one number for both men and women! Just a tip! 🤜🤛

I love going to that clearance store. Been going there for years. Hate that they are now charging 1.89 lb. Back when I started it was .99 lb. Lots of great stuff from there. I did get a Patagonia raincoat for 5.50 to flip. Love your videos

Hiya! I know this is probably too late to matter, but wondering if that XL jersey was a woman's jersey? And a hint...on some kids sports type clothes is it would say 'YXL' meaning 'Youth' XL :) Hope this helps...I've been watching your vids last few days trying to work up the courage (lol) to put first listing up on ebay and/or start an etsy shop (as I'm a crafty type). Always fear of the unknow that gets me. But seeing that I had a work related injury 5 months ago and not able to return to work yet I really have had time to think about my future. Scored an Aigle tan lightweight jacket 🧥 with topography lining of France. Super cool. Gifted it to my middle son and he loves it. Congrats on getting closer to 50,000 subs! I started watching when you were thrifting at 🥙 lunch and hurrying back to work. This is your calling. GoPro for sure, but I love what some others have suggested such as some smalls so more people get to celebrate with you. Do mystery boxes with clothing. Like use medium or large flat rate and put say 10 pieces charge x amount of dollars you make profit and they can resell the clothes

Hey Josh! I know this video is super old, but just a helpful tip for the future - Goof Off works wonders to get paint off of literally any surface! Would have taken that paint off of the bottom of the shoes like nothinggggg. 😊

I think a go pro is a great idea. Maybe a light box or something for photo taking would be nice as well. Or a mystery box starter kit. Like just some easy resellable items for people who struggle with sourcing.

I little tip for you Josh with the white trainers if there are any stubborn stains on them use some car wax and a bit of elbow grease jobs a good un will come straight off.. You could use a pressure washer on the bottoms.

That used to be my job before I got my pregnant. My boss would buy pallets from auctions and from stores closing down or from liquidations places then my job would be to list it on ebay or Amazon. He had 4 warehouses and in 3 different states. I only quit bc I got pregnant and was ordered on bed rest then I had my baby and now I'm just staying at home with my son.

your goodwills are absurd. you cant even source there anymore in Maryland, the prices are insane, shoes are $25 and a normal branded shirt is $8-10 its insane.

Welcome to the billion dollar mind set of goodwill. They figure since they don’t have to pay for products and they pay their employees a minimum wage the higher they raise their prices the more profit they make #boycottgoodwill
Camera, mic & mixer, or photo for youtube channel and take photos of the store with. Something to kickstart them into the next level of reselling and social media. I think that would be a good celebration for the 50K mark.

Can I say OMG 😲 a Grand? I'm jealous. In our area warehouse space is 3 to 5 times that on a good season. With your volume, just to clear out any storage units and having a working garage would be priceless. I finally bit the bullet and got a 3k warehouse with electric and wifi. Closed my 700 storage unit and cleared out 2 bedrooms. A side benefit in my case I had my own business that after 20 yrs I lost during Covid19 peak. Having to get up and leave the house has increased my motivation 5 fold. Working from the house was difficult for me. Too distracting. Finally USPS was more willing to sent their commercial truck to me everday and scan packages compared to hauling stuff to the post office.

I went and checked and mystery box and the shoes you listed was sold. Wish I could find clothes and shoes that cheap. I love listing shoes but cheapest shoes are $8.00 for no brand and $25 for name brand. Great video as always.

Yea our goodwill outlet put out little stuff but I always buy stuff online and do free pick up. Their online selection is better than their in store. Woot, giveaway would be nice and 50k is a huge deal on TH-cam, since ur a reseller you should giveaway a random reseller gift box or something like that. That’s a lot of video games for sure. Does he have any nes or snes? That mystery box sound really good, I might have to think that I might want one. Do we email you for that? 1000 for a month that’s great, you can just live there and just have the 1000 payment lol. If I was single I’ll do that in a heart beat. That "Aigle" jacket is french brand we used to wear as kids growing up over seas ... not really a hot brand. Aigle is french for eagle.

Just so you know, depending on what price you can pick them up for, new or used, the "onion machine" at 5:48 in the blue box actually sell really well.

That Revere ware skillet looked like a pre 66. They are easy to ship. I sell ton's of revere ware. Only thing ids them charging separate for the lid..

Some GW outlet/bins/surplus stores (or at least mine) don’t price by weight. They follow a schedule like 50¢ per book, $1-$2 for clothes, $5/$10 small/large electronics, etc. But cashiers will do things like see 5 of xyz in your pile and just charge you for one.
And for those who have never been to one, it’s not for the weak. It’s grungy, you’ll get your hands dirty, you’ll grab things and wonder what the hell was spilled on it.
My bins in Va. have both pricings. Books and shoes are flat rate. Most other things are by the pound. In Ocala Fl. There are set prices on bedspreads..in my store it is hard to get to anything they bring out. Foreign ladies line up and block you from the bins with baskets. It doesnt really matter if I am ahead or behind them in line. They fill up their baskets and sometimes pay then, sometimes later. They stay nearly all day and may have two filled baskets sitting around. It doesnt take long for all baskets to be taken by them. In Fl. When you fill your basket you must pay, take the bags to the car and return to the store if you wish to continue shopping. Also in Va. kids, not in school, dig in the bins blocking you and play with toys in the floor of the aisles. It takes patience and I dont go this year because of covid.

I go to the bins once a week and make and it's always a good deal! I'd go every day if I could and prefers to to the Goodwill stores ...!
FYI.. For pet toys.. Go to your nearest Menards for their Black Friday shopping. We bought our 2 large breed dogs chew toys and stuffed animals for the entire year for less than $100. Every toy is $2-$5.

For the pearl necklaces to try to determine if real or at least good quality check the back side of the clasp, if gold or would have 14k or 10k etc. Also, the clasp would be a good better quality than the usual cheap clasps.
Put the shoes in a washing machine. Truly cleans them inside and out. Then use a fan to dry.
