And if the handles goes up and down easily. The yarn you could get $17-$20 each, maybe a little more plus shipping. Depends on exactly what kind of yarn it is.

Because of the volume of bargain hunters and resellers in my area I ONLY go to rummage sales that aren't advertised anywhere online. I just look for signs. They always have better things left even after 10:00 AM.
You would be surprised how fast the baby and kids clothes sale. We've had several at each year sale ask if we have those items for sale and if we know anywhere else to get them. But it's probably depending on where you live too.
Josh you should keep an eye out for revere ware. the copper bottom pot at 22:13 in the video was one of them. If you can get them cheap you can make a good profit and they are pretty quick sellers.

Nice score..$50 for all that stuff...that was a small yard sale but like you said, ya never know...he had quality items. I live near Missouri Illinois border so luckily for me yard sales in both states are plentiful in spring and summer and I'd say the majority are pretty decent, I usually find something worthwhile to buy and flip on eBay, our antique mall booth, or at the flea market we do. But of course there are also plenty of sales with nothing but baby clothes too but even those it doesn't hurt to look at the toys and the stuffed animals. I find lots of nice Disney stuffed animals which sell great at our booth. Great job on the videos
Garage sales are definitely a great sourcing opportunity for me here in Australia. As you said, some hit and miss but I've picked up some cracking deals that have been very profitable (e.g. Vintage Furby backpack for $10 sold for $250 including shipping to the US)
You missed it. Think VACUUM TUBES anything electronic that uses tubes. An amp was under the table. I take out all tubes before I sell or destroy the item. My last receiver netted me 1800 from tubes and 900 for the amp. Important not to clean off the lettering on each tube as well

I say put the yarn for $15.00 each "loaf" it will sell you have enough for an entire blanket there.... there is always someone out there that ran out of a certain color and its been discontinued or that particular batch is sold out ....
How are garage sales in my area? Usually a “community garage sale ” that is usually two people with nothing but baby clothes. Oh I have to drive 30min to get there.
About 2/20 yard sales this summer have been great. Went to A few community yard sales and most were overpriced... nothing worth getting to make profit. Tbh estate sales are where it’s at. A popular company here has some staff members that will make a price on your bundle so I get as much as I can and usually pay $1-1.50 per item. love those and I don’t mind getting in line lol
I bought my first case from Bulq. Toys uninspected returns. I was a bit disappointed 10 or so funko pops but boxes are damaged. I paid $130 for 41 items not counting the Funkos I think I will make 250 in profit.

Neighborhood garage sales are the best when you can get to 10 or 12 homes in the same neighborhood. Those are rare though, and usually seasonal.
The thing is in uk, you dont have yard sales or flea markets, or even thrift stores. You just have the occasional car boot in summer on the weekend
