Again this was a beautiful tour. I would love to see the inside of one of these mansions, even the apartments look totally inviting, very costly I'm sure.
You’re welcome! Forest Hills is awesome. Every street you go down has a good vibe and there’s so many nice things to see. I have another video on my channel of all the big homes in the private neighborhood section too if you’re interested. Thanks for the comment, take care!
Muy bello ,pero que pena que es mudo el video, y me gustarias saber cuanto es ua renta de una casa de tres habitaciones? o esa sona es para ricos solamente?
That walk was beautiful the scenery is really pretty. I liked how you went into the community baseball field then you ran around the field. Nice real nice!!!
It's so cool you started at the train station & the aerial view. I felt like I was right next to the trains as they went by! Awesome video, beautiful homes and landscaping! Such a peaceful place to live. Thank you!!
Funny you mention it, I was debating on doing exactly that! Wasn't sure anyone really wanted to see a bunch of apartment buildings, but the Ramones landmarks part would be a good mini tour. Maybe I'll edit it down to just those highlights.
3:39 How did the HoA allow those hidieous blue shutters on that house?? Sticks out like a sore thumb next to all the others. Very aesthetically displeasing.
What's the sense in living in a beautiful gated community when you have to step outside and shop in ghetto settings made possible by the new residents. l say "new" because the old residents (like me and my family) who loved and cared for our neighborhoods have moved away. Bringing in the new people who could care less for this country and the American way of life that we worked so hard to live. Keep in mind its people that change a neighborhood not a structure!
There's literally nothing in Forest Hills that's ghetto, especially the Gardens or Station Square sections that I filmed. Austin Street, which is always full of people, is dominated by businesses and shopping and that stretch all the way to Kew Gardens is well kept also. It's nice in every direction. Even the other side of Queens Boulevard with all the apartment buildings is well maintained. Seems like a lot of the "new" residents are taking care of their surroundings. Not to mention all the new high end cars you see parked and driving everywhere in Forest Hills.
I live in the Gardens now and have lived in NYC my whole life. This comment is pure trolling and misinformation. The areas around the Gardens are quite fine and have nothing to do with your “ghetto“ reference.
I live in FHG too, and have lived here since 1968..this comment is unfortunately indicative of someone who likes to blame all their troubles on others, it’s the typical us against them mentality..the beauty of FHG, the sound of the birds in the background, the peacefulness and the beautiful families living here are just some of the things we treasure here..please don’t bring your anger and negativity here

Loved the 10 years we lived there, 35 years ago but a small apartment only works without kids

Thank you for sharing this beautifully maintained and peaceful neighborhood ✨✨
Thank you for the lovely tour. I lived in Queens for many years and would go to Forest Hill -the mini Manhattan often. It still looks fabulous.
