I do like that you reacted without having the subtitles on because that is how most will experience these songs, but I do recommend that you check out the Finnish sung songs again with subtitles. I thing you will get a bit more out of them 😉

In all honesty, Paskana by Sara is the only one of these 7 that will be a proper contender in Eurovision; some may not like it (as you didn't), but many will absolutely love it, I've already seen so many reactions of people feeling it very deeply (so do I), and in Eurovision, dislikes don't matter, only the loves 💓☺ But thanks for reaction, anyway ;)

I have no faith in the Eurovision juries or audience to give Glow the amount of points and praises that it deserves. Frankly, I do not even think the Finnish audience will go for that type of rap, there's a reason this song is last in the odds right now.
As a finnish person, I like his song the most. I'll vote for it unless the live performance changes my mind (I'm going to go and see the final rehearsal in person). Meanwhile Paskana is my least favourite song and that's currently one of the popular ones (Mania has a lot of stream on spotify aswell, but people aren't naming it as their favourite as much).
As someone who has listened to rock/heavy for a very long time I get what u said about Cyan kicks. They always make rock songs "fitting" to eurovision. I also agree with you about Sara. And Jesse is a feel good song. Still atm my order for songs is; 1. Windows95/Cyan kicks And that's that.😂 I know live performances can change my mind totally. But With Ck I know they can perform live. And Henri's vocals in win95 studio version are amazing, that's the performance I am soo looking forward to see live😊 it can be totally amazing or totally flop😂
I think the contrasting beat in the bacround of Saras song emphasizes the songs meaning: why does the world keep turning and everyone continues their lives with normal pace even though Im so broken?

Im 99% sure either Sara, Cyan Kicks or MGN wins. I kind of like all UMK songs again this year, but those three are above others and im sure they would get to Final in Eurovision. Windows95man would be interesting "joker card" (pun intended), but sending similiar style song as Käärijä would be quite risky right after last year. Thats why im hoping Sara Siipola wins. It also has much more interesting/deeper lyrics and sounds more addicting than Tattoo. I would love us to send that to Eurovision to show that we can do that kind of music too, and in less cliche way with no violins playing or angels crying😎🙄.
I feel that mant people disregard this edition because there is many rap-oriented song. Let’s be honest, it is not a direction that is in pair with majority of eurovision fans. And knowing the patterns females with bops and ballads are usually prioritized. I like both but looking at fans’ preferences that’s what it is.

I dont think he will win UMK, at least polls so he is the last atm. Might be because he said he wont go, so people dont want to waste a vote on him. Also all be it the song is very good, it does sound "non-finnish", more americans tyle definately, so while people might enjoy the song just fine, it's not really something that gets a lot of fame in Finland. I myself enjoy all of the UMK songs, really.

Im also a rock and metal girl, and Cyan Kicks' style is the kind if midern metal that i like very much when done well. I'd say the UMK lineup is very disappointing this year, and i think even Cyan Kicks being their best bet for a good result, i still think low top 10 is their high limit. But i do love the song. Vox Populi is easily my least favourite. I find it offensive and insulting to listen to. Regardless, good to see your channel thriving mate. Hope to see you in Malmo! ☺️
