I would be really unfortunate if she had to change the name. Then again, that would add a "catchy" story to the song for the voters in the Eurovision to remember.
It’s not badly translated. A bad translation for this would be to just directly translate everything. “Paskana” doesn’t really have a direct translation to English but i think they used the f word well in this matter to emphasize the feeling she’s singing about.
@@Mirostii I just don't think there was any need to add that word in there, causing all the reactors to wonder about the swear word. I think the "whole thing", meaning the entire song is badly translated, a lot of the nuance is lost. In e.g., Mania they even had "stadia" as stadium (this has been changed since) - so clearly there's some lack of understanding context by the translators. I know a lot of people feel the same - hence why there's lots of people making their own translations in the comments of the song
She really doesn't have to change a word in Finnish, as the best translation of "paskana" is "total wreck", not the "naughty" one. Have to wonder though, if all this is just an attempt to gain attraction?
I agree that we should do something surprising and send Sara. It also happens to be the best song in UMK this year
Sara does it. She should represent our country.
Thank you for a really good analysis. Hopefully Sara will represent Finland in Malmö. Greetings from Finland.
Thank you for watching 😊🫶🏼

It doesn't literally mean f***ing wreck, the whole thing is just badly translated
Indeed. I'm a total wreck would be better (or feeling like sh*t).
