When you trade a 50 for a 125 you keep up with traffic - true - but you'll have greater T-boning danger at junctions and far greater risk of entering a corner too fast and riding off into the trees. My instructor said "Bigger bike = same accidents but at higher speeds".
I'm really hoping to get one when I turn 16 in a few months but I dont think my mum would be all for it 😬. What's you opinion for a 16 year old to get one of these bikes, is it too young??
I got mine on my 16th birthday, did my cbt a couple of days later. People will have to overtake you quite a lot because you're going quite slow. I loved it, and the best thing for me is how much it helped me when I started driving. You can't go wrong with one in my opinion, and you can sell them a year later and only lose around £100
@@CR47Ycam same here, because of all the covid stuff my provisional is taking a while to arrive. bought my hunter second hand for 850 quid , already found a few faults with it but none that were too hard to repair. Some electric issues with the front brake not lighting up the brake light. its currently collecting dust on my garden while i wait to take my cbt lol

I think it's fine tbh as long as you don't muck around with it and make sure you ride sensibly
