Full build details & links are in the description. I still can't believe I finally got to build a board by TGR! For folks who have tried both, do you prefer top-mount or gummy o-ring mount? Let us know in the comments. As always, thanks for watching and hope to see you in the next video ✌🫰
That sound at the end of the video. Holy crap, it's perfection. It's like a perfect mix of a deep tone with a pure higher pitched marbly/rain drop sound.
Your content isn't just keyboard building but keyboard art. To give such respect and care to such a high-end board is very nice to see as a viewer. Definitely earned my sub! Great content man.
the tomo is so slept on, got an SE version on mechmarket for 450$ brand new, has to be my favorite board even over the very much hyped kohaku. its beautiful, has a clean sound signature with great alphas and one of the best spacebars out there imo and the regular tomo can often be found for around 300$ on mm which is a steal
then there's me that did buy this board for gaming lol. This has replaced my SAT75 and as not only does the TOMO feel better to type on, it sounds so much better!

Amazing video with just as amazing board! Just some words of criticism (or kind of opinion); at 11:40 when you show a brief soundtest, the music could be lowered so that it's easier to hear the soundtest.
Hi there! I purchased them with the keyboard from the Monokei store. I'm not sure if they are still in stock, as I don't see the page on the store anymore.
Hi, great video and montage. It's high quality and I enjoyed watching you build this. I have question if you've every tried wire balancing to remove ticks? I saw it from other creator i think better than putting alot of primatex? Idk I'm just giving opinion because it works for them.
Yep! The wires on this set were just fine out of the box. In my experience, even with balanced wires, stabilizers can tick if the keycaps aren't perfectly straight. And you're right - too much grease in the wrong place can make the key feel really mushy, but as long as you inject smaller amounts into the cavity where the wire sits it should work like magic to get rid of any ticking.
Oh yeah, that's a tough one. The Sonnet seems really nice too. Honestly, I don't think you can make a wrong choice between those two - you should get the one that looks and sounds nicest to you!

@@Laughadaffadil Ah dang, yeah looks like my channel got hit. Thanks for letting me know!
@@sagwatypes no problem anytime!
Highly suggest double mounting it, as in top and oring together, sounds a lot more full

This is the best sounding board+switch combination I've ever heard.
This video gave me warmth, a very beautifully put together video to say the least

This video has it all... Stunning work. Truly.
Great vid!
Minor thing, but I feel like I have to say that 0.15 isn't 1/15th.

Beautifully shot and put together. Well done, sir!
How does this man have only 600 subs with that production quality wth
That's crazyyy shot very stunnning
assumed you had 100k! beautiful video, great voiceover. Awesome stuff!
Thank you so much for the kind comment!
I’m gutted that this board came out (in stock) a month after I bought into a different 75%GB
It hurts to see so much praise for it lol
High quality keyboard and a high quality video
how does this video have 10k views but you only 600 subs man. great stuff as always! wont be underrated for too long feels like
Nice piece of art. It becomes talk of the town on my local commu. The green case also looks sick tho 💚
Yeah the Tomo is a real banger! Love mine.
You deserves more subs
Next build this same board but with the insides filled with spray foam. I dare you!

Fantastic video.
Hi, I wonder where I can get the lego mountable badge for the Tomo? thank you
Great work! Great video :)
Amazing video with just as amazing board!

Appreciate the feedback - I'll definitely address that in going forward.
why build with foam first
if you're building hotswap i assume it's first build on it so why foam it if you haven't encountered any big sound issues
hi may I know where did you purchased the badge? thank you

This one or Mode Sonnet? I have a tough time to choose one to buy :D

What is that red board with the knob?
Akko Mod007v2
what is that hhkb st keyboard?
It's a modded HHKB Pro 3 that I built in this video: th-cam.com/video/P-RRhGGvefM/w-d-xo.html
Is it just me or the normal keys are even poppier than the spacebar (⌐■_■)
I want compact layout 😢
Same! I'd love a top-mount HHKB layout from TGR.
Face reveal when!?
You’ll see my beautiful round mugshot in a reflection someday
p̳r̳o̳m̳o̳s̳m̳ 🌹
No thanks I'll stick with my Dell rubber dome with Cheeto dust and finger nail clippings.
Way too much money for a board you'll use occasionally-- though I suppose I've done the same in the past...
It's definitely a luxury!
