I always wondered what made the car shoot up in speed so dramatically like this on this course. I remember seeing this effect back when I played this on Namco Museum Vol 3.
@@xxdeadchannelxx Oh what I meant is around turn 3 of the race lap after qualifying, the car just dramatically increases it acceleration for the rest of the race. I think compared to any other track in the game, you couldn't even break 300 mph in a straight. There seems to be some weird effect going on there

Yeah well it's an arcade racing game. But for it's time, it was the most realistic driving game ever.
