This is where my ranking lies, but first my thoughts on Horrorland. For all its flaws, it's up there. I appreciate the ambition (a quality that is rare in Stine's work lol) and it has a few heavy hitters. The series from that point onward haven't quite lived up to that, this series has the latest ones I can call really good which is a shame but whatever. I'd put it lower than like the og and whatever but above anything that came after lol. Arc 2 was a step down though, my opinion is mostly based on arc 1 MEH: Revenge of the Living Dummy: This one just sucks, everything is really forced and the more interesting parts, like the mind stealer doll don't get much focus. Easily my least favorite Slappy book. AVERAGE: Slappy New Year: A step up from the last one but it's still more of the same, and the protagonist is unlikable. But it has a fun climax, and Brandon has some sort of an arc. Middle but not terrible. Little Shop of Hamsters: Love the villain but otherwise weirdly dull. Dr. Maniac vs Robby Shwartz: A mess but at least it's kind of creative and memorable with some clever bits. It's certainly better than his sequel in the least. DECENT: The Wizard of Ooze: Fine but just kinda there. Welcome to Camp Slither; The most "fine" book that could ever exist. Monster Blood for Breakfast: Has some annoying parts but it's brought up by being the first half decent Monster Blood book ever, with an actually likable protagonist and a good ending. My Friends Call Me monster: Rushed but charming. Heads you Lose; Nothing to bad, nothing too great but a unique enough story Escape from HorrorLand; Pretty fun, with a great Sabrina/Carly Beth scene but it's super pointless. GOOD; Weirdo Halloween; A bit too gross, Part 2 drags, but it's perfectly fine, brought up by a fun idea and a pretty unique monster. Weirdly, one of the better special edition ones, and one of the few I like lol When the Ghost Dog Howls: Best of arc 2, a fun plot with wild scenes but the middle part drags and gets too out there to make it really solid lol Who's Your Mummy: A bit slow but decently creepy with some wildly dark stuff and a cool villain, even if there's major logic problems. Say Cheese and Die Screaming: Easily the best Say Cheese and Die book. Some rushed parts, but the protagonist is great and smart, and it does some unique things with the camera. Creep from the Deep; Not quite as good as Deep Trouble 1 but better than 2, creepy with some gore and a cool villain, plus Billy is still awesome Help We have Strange Powers; Charecters could be better but it's well paced, fun, and has a really unique villain that brings in interesting ideas. VERY G0OD/GREAT; Scream of the Haunted Mask; The best of the haunted mask sequels easily, not always super strong but it has some strong atmosphere, and good use of location with interesting additions to the lore, and Carly Beth was handled well. The Horror at Chiller House; I went on recently about it but yeah, intense with Chiller being a great villain. The Streets of Panic Park; A great finale with stakes, dark stuff and an amazing messed up villain. So there ya go, mostly middle but with enough solid ones in there.

There’s also a Halloween book in the series, which I know how much you love the Halloween ones. Try them out, all 6 have their own ways of telling horror which is awesome.
I am actually reading a hall of Horrors book right now called night of the giant everything and the Halloween one I have finished if you mean the five mask of doctor scream I have finished that to be honest that book didn't really hit me well I didn't like it mostly because I didn't really think it was scary on the other hand this is like a hit in the face because some of my favorite juice from books from the series did not get the ranking they deserve like Dr Maniac that book was my favorite like legit I loved it I love Bobby's personality and I loved how they finally put a boy character with long hair and Sam I love how Sam turned out to be talked to maniac but you can't be too hard on it because it's a 12 year making a comic book he has to go with the first thing that comes to his head

I read the whole series a few years ago and I only really liked like 4 books out of All of them lol the rest were meh or terrible but my favorites were my friends call me monster ,weirdo Halloween,whose your mummy escape from Horrorland and streets of panic park the worst one being Dr maniac vs Robby schrawrtz
I got streets of panic park as my first horrorland book i didn't know that it is on in sequel of start hating horror land when i was 11 lol but now i like horror land and creep from deep is amazing
dude i recently decided to reread this series and yes i didnt like the overarching stuff but in my head i was all like is there a way to make an overarching goosebumps narrative good so i decided i am gonna be making my own little goosebumps fan cinematic universe or a gcu

Pretty good video of the ranking of the horror land books. For the most part I really enjoy the books yeah there some okay books overall I still appreciate it being in the goosebumps series. I personal like the second arc then the first arc in my opinion.

I really like the horrorland series, the first 12 books were good but I never read 13 - 18, 19 I read though, tbh I know people have the favorite goosebumps villain that the wanted in the horrorland series and might have been upset that the didn’t make it in the series and tbh I’m one of them because I wanted one of the horrorland books to be about the Lawn Gnomes from Revenge of the Lawn Gnomes.

I'm flabbergasted that the series has had SO. MANY. ITERATIONS. You got the old stuff, you got the 'Tales/More Tales/Even MORE Tales to Give you Goosebumps' side gig, the 2000 era, the Horrorland saga and let's not forget the 'make your OWN decisions if you think YOU'RE so smart, wise guy' novels from the endlessly fun 'Give Yourself Goosebumps' stories I'd say 'the only thing missing is the porn parody' but part of my soul died from cringe the moment the wise ass remark entered my head....
Scream of the Haunted Mask kinda takes the cake for me as just being the absolute best. It was the sequel HM2 should’ve been.
